I love the Habit overall... and I hate writing bad reviews. BUT ownership and corp need to pay attn. April 8th 8:30 at night my girlfriend and I went in for dinner... We were told that we had to use Kiosk to order. We placed and waited and food came up in normal time. Girlfriend burgers had mayo when it wasn't supposed to. Not a big deal she went up and asked them to remake it. The girl needed to check receipt to see if we ordered wrong? We showed receipt and it said "no mayo"... they say they will remake.. We eat the rest of the food and after 10 min with no burger I go up to check. Behind the center island at the grill the female worker (i believe manager) and the cook exchange words. He is frustrated and she looks at me and says we are understaffed. To which I reply "thats not my problem". Then the male cook looks at me and yells across the kitchen... "what do you want" I said "i want the burger the way its on the receipt" then another girl comes over and rudely says "Do you just want your money back....." I replied. "No i just want you guys to do your job" and i went back to my table and started getting our stuff ready to leave. The manager comes over with a burger as we are walking out... I asked her.. "after the cooks attitude do you really think we would eat that burger... Again she says... "we are understaffed" and I again point out thats not my problem. she set the burger down and says "I don't need to take this"... and walks away. And we leave.
The next day i look at my text receipt and it has an option to send a comment. I write out the details and hit submit.. sure enough... I get a response that a comment has already been submitted for my receipt... Hmmmmmmmmm
The store was NOT that busy. The driver thru was not busy. there were more than enough workers mulling around. Simply using the excuse that "we are understaffed" to make the customer feel bad for the store is lame. If you don't have enough workers then have the integrity to close the dinning room and only offer driver thru. Don't ruin the brand because you don't plan accordingly. If i wanted a McDonald's experience i would have gone to Mcdonalds.
I resubmitted what happen thru the corp web site and got an email automated response giving me some sort of gift card. I didn't even open. No other response.
I understand this is a new store.. But until they get their operation working... go to the habit up the street on foothill (I have always had great service there) or go to...

I ordered via drive thru; two burgers w/ cheese & grilled onions no tomatoes. Girl on speaker repeated my order correctly verbatim. Got to the window, waited a while. Got the bag and the burgers had tomatoes but no onions . Handed it back. Waited again, gave me the bag but I checked again and the burgers were STILL wrong, this time no tomatoes and still no ONIONS. Lol. Decided to go inside to not hold up the line. Told them that the burgers were still wrong and the MANAGER hands me what was suppose to be grilled onions for both my burgers. No apology, no compensation, no “here’s a coupon for your next visit”. Nothing! As if the mistake TWICE was my fault. The food costs too much for it to be wrong TWICE. I love that this location has a drive thru but I’ll just drive to the one on foothill! My order is never an issue at that location and the manager/workers there...
Read moreBurgers are great, however this location had no one at the front counter. All orders are made at a self help kiosk, card only. We didn't realize this location closes at 9pm when we decided to dine in. Our order was ready about 15 minutes before closing time. At 9:09 pm, one of the employees came to our table to tell us that they had been closed for 10 minutes already, and if we could "please" finish up. That was pretty much the only interaction we had with the staff. I don't know if the atmosphere is the same during the day, but I don't think I'll be coming back to this location to find out. There were two other tables occupied, and they were told as well. Though I understand that employees want to leave and finish up with their work, this isn't the way to treat your customers.
