Update: was contacted by the district manager, who apologized for the behavior of the team, and insured me she would be visiting the store in the coming week to review the policies with the team. I appreciate the response. Honestly disappointed. Ive been in before, im used to being ignored here. But last night was different. Went in at about 8:15, there were 3-4 employees working. I was looking through jeans trying to find my size, no help. Gave up on that, i had a handful of items and stepped in to the fitting room, no help so i got my own. Found a few things i liked, but i was going to wait until pay day for because they were a little pricier. I stepped out around 845, and saw their table with face masks, they were a great price, i grabbed them and went to the desk. I looked at the employees, they could see me product and payment in hand, 8:58 roles around, no one has even made the slightest movement to come ring me out. I ask, out loud, "seriously?" I had 3 or 4 girls come up to me to ask if I wanted a dressing room and when I did decide to try a couple of things on, one of those same girls always seemed to appear and try to talk to me about how cute the item was on me. I appreciate when employees are attentive, but this was over the top and made me feel like I couldn’t shop with my friend in peace. They called to me from outside the dressing room to see how everything was fitting and the girl who got me the dressing room made sure I knew to find her specifically to check out. Objectively all of that might just sound like they were aware of their customers but it was way too much and felt pushy and almost tense. The cashier was super nice, said that she could talk to the manager who was in a meeting and maybe they could figure out something. I waited in the store for about 10 minutes until the manger came out. Right off the bat, she was so mean. She was extremely rude from the beginning to the end of the exchange. Had horrible customer service and acted as if I was dumb whenever I said a word. In the end she didn’t give me my money back, she made me exchange all my items for new ones and I’m not mad about that, it’s just that if you didn’t want to do it, just be nice and say no.
