Calypso Resort — Local services in Panama City Beach

Incredibly disappointed with customer service except Stevie in Tower one & two. She is very friendly and did everything she could to help with a compassionate attitude. We visit the 30 A area SEVERAL times a year. I called to verify the property had access to hot tubs especially during spring months. It’s the number one amenity my family enjoys. Upon arrival we learn that only TOWER 3 has access to the hot tubs. It’s a separate HOA so no exceptions are given. We even offered to pay to have access. I talked to a supervisor and she was very direct and offered no help. It was sorry about your luck , you already paid. We will never book here again due to misrepresentation of being told we had access to the hot tubs and the way it was handled. Do Not rent through Emerald Coast in Calypso as you receive no resolutions or updates on issues. Be careful with vrbo that uses them as a property manager. Arrived to a broken couch you couldn't even sit on. Air not working and had to keep blinds closed to hold the air below 76 which was not comfortable and it was filthy. Parking sucks unless you drive a compact car. Pool attendants are rude. Cant have any drinks by the pool. Might as well stay at the damn holiday inn. Would give it no stars if possible.
