I used to enjoy shopping here (over a year ago..) I recently went back and in their "boutique" side- there is so much JUNK now ! And it's even more overpriced than ever before. They have fast fashion brands marked upwards of $20 (I saw H&M and Shein today priced that high...J Crew and other mall brands are even higher- what a JOKE) Don't expect to find designer anymore because the staff tells their friends/family and/or they are selling it on a website like Goodwill does now. They are so GREEDY! DO NOT DONATE HERE! They have so many volunteers/workers crowding the store- it's so unpleasant to move around in there. One in particular, the short loud white woman who wears funky outfits- she is RUDE and NOSEY. There's also a very rude woman who has short brown hair. She acts very self-important.
By the way, with so many volunteers/workers- how do they not see these items with FOOD in the pockets? Dog poop bags? It was so disgusting in there! Are they just supposed to look for brand names and make sure to keep them off the floor for selling elsewhere to get top-dollar? Or are they there to stand around and be rude? It's so disgusting being in there now. I found so many sweaters with stains (some are subtle to make sure to take them to the brightest possible area to double check things!) and they still want astronomical prices. THESE ARE DONATED ITEMS! They are OVERFLOWING with donations yet are so greedy they just add more and more racks and higher and higher prices...do you see how this doesn't make sense? Don't you want to SELL these items? I'm sure the people who donated them would like to see them go to good homes...
If you do go, MAKE SURE YOU REALLY LOOK OVER YOUR ITEMS! I have spent thousands of dollars here over the years only to get home and find holes, stains, broken shoes...etc (NO RETURNS). I am so done supporting this racket. The next door "thrift" has much nicer staff and reasonable prices but again, it's very slim pickings and with so many good options for sustainable shopping (online or anywhere else) save yourself the time/money/peace of mind and shop elsewhere!
AND! Very important to note- even when I've racked up a tab over $500 they will ask if I want to donate to the food pantry. ?? Where is all the money I'm spending here going?? I thought I was supporting a cause not filling the pockets of whoever. So gross and...
Read moreAs a member of the community, I have frequented this store and enjoyed it many times before, but today (7/12/23), that was not my experience.
While browsing, I overheard an interaction between a Latin customer and the store clerk, asking something in Spanish.
The clerk responded to the Latin customer by pointing at her face and touching her cheek, saying, "I'm white, you see? I'm white. I only speak English. No Spanish."
As a "christian" charity consignment organization, I was disappointed to find your staff being less than inviting and unaccommodating to this customer.
I realize not everyone speaks or understands Spanish or other foreign languages, but I hope you will train your staff in better methods for accommodating future customers through communication barriers while shopping.
Everyone deserves great service, regardless of their primary language, ...
Read moreWe were told about this place from a friend who lives in Park City and it's definitely a spot to check out. Found some nice sweatpants and north face jacket for my son. I think it's hit or miss with what you're able to find, some items we saw still had brand new tags on them. Sylvia had terrific customer service and anytime we're back in the area we'll definitely come by.
Aloha from Hawaii, Dim N...
