This Chinese/Thai restaurant was a 5 minute walk from our hotel, so we decided to have dinner here, despite the very mixed reviews. The atmosphere was a bit strange as there was only one other diner eating in, but a bunch of staff members doing little to nothing. There is plenty of indoor seating, though. The service was friendly but a bit sluggish. It took quite a while to flag our server down for water refills and the bill. We started with the Pan Fried Pork Potstickers, which were really crispy and the dipping sauce was good as well. We also split a Bowl of Wonton Soup, which was pretty bland but nothing terrible. Unfortunately, the entrees weren’t very appetizing. I tried the Thai Coconut Chicken, which was okay, but not great. The chicken had that grisly/fatty texture and the coconut sauce almost tasted slightly sour. My Mom tried the Park City Fried Rice and she noted that all she could really taste was a grease/burnt taste. We didn’t really finish our entrees and spent over $50 on our dinner so we probably wouldn’t come back, but the food wasn’t nearly as appealing as some of the reviews suggest. Just, probably not the best quality ingredients being used here.

I really am one to root for the underdog... unless the underdog does not deserve to be lauded. Such is the case of Park City Chinese & Thai. I picked up my order from the restaurant, which is decked out in festive red lanterns and tassels. But the food was nothing to celebrate. The lo mein, labeled as #1 most liked, was bland. The noodles were overcooked and mushy, but all the veg were tender crisp. I had to douse the dish in soy sauce for flavor. The orange chicken was also bland with no orange flavor. The only redemptive dish was the potstickers (#3 most liked), which were crisp, chewy, and had good flavor. But at $11 for 6, this can easily be passed over. I've been to many restaurants in Park City (reviews coming soon!), and this gets the least stars. Is it the worst Asian restaurant I've ever been to? No, that honor still belongs to Empress of China in Melbourne, Australia.

**Park City Chinese & Thai** is a hidden gem for lovers of Asian cuisine 🍜. Whether you're craving savory Chinese dishes – or flavorful Thai favorites – this spot delivers on both fronts! The rich aromas of stir-fry, curries, and fresh ingredients fill the air, making every bite a delicious experience 🍛. Their **Lomein house** is a must-try, and the **General Tso's Chicken** packs just the right balance of sweet and spicy 🌶️. Perfect for dining in – or grabbing takeout after a long day on the slopes ⛷️. Friendly service and cozy atmosphere make it a great spot for families and groups 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. Whether you're a local or a visitor – **Park City Chinese & Thai** is a go-to for authentic flavors right in the heart of town 🏙️. #ParkCityDining #BestThaiFood #ChineseCuisineUtah #ParkCityRestaurants #TakeoutParkCity #UtahEats #PadThai #GeneralTsosChicken #FoodieFinds #AsianCuisine

We came here because we were craving some Chinese food and the place was empty but we ordered anyway for take out. I noticed right away that none of the employees were Asian. I went to the restroom and passing by the kitchen I saw there was only Hispanic men in there as well. So I was the only Asian in the building. Didn't turn out to be a good thing.

The dishes come with either white, brown, or fried rice. The fried rice has eggs, carrots, and peas.

I ordered the scallops with garlic sauce. It had good flavors but came with the really small scallops. There was a decent amount of scallops but I was expecting the bigger flat ones I normally find in Asian restaurants. Not that big of a deal. It mostly tasted like Asian flavors and had Asian ingredients except for the bell peppers. Overall it was good.

Wife ordered the Thai stir fry shrimp in roasted chili paste. What we got was shrimp in curry. Again the flavor was there and it was a good tasting curry but that sounded nothing like the name of the dish. Overall what we got was good of that was the correct order or not.

We both picked the fried rice options with our dishes. That was horrible. The rice tasted old. The sauce they used to fry the rice was sour? It looked like it should have just been plain soy sauce fried rice but it just was inedible. Hopefully you don't get rice like this sour old rice.

They roll your condiments up in the napkin with the utensils and fortune cookie. They don't give chili oil so you have to ask for it if you want it.

The dishes were good enough but I can't get over how bad the...

Because we were craving Chinese we reluctantly ordered from here again after avoiding it for a couple years. We arrived 15 mins after the time they gave us to pick up our order. They said the food was not ready so we went to the grocery store for about 20 mins and came back. When we returned they said the food was still not ready. When I asked why not the guy working says they are really busy. The place was completely empty at 8 o'clock. We sat down to wait. And after 15 mins or so I decided to look at the ticket on an order that had been sitting there on the counter next to the register since the first visit. And what do you know it was ours. So because I had already paid via the app I took it. When I asked the guy about it he said...oh they didn't tell me. So it had been sitting there for 40 mins or more at that point and he never thought about checking it. And obviously never asked the kitchen about our order. We got the food home and it was disgusting. We threw most of it away. Our order was $85!!! I normally don't write reviews. But I have had it with this place and hope they close. So that someone who actually cares about their product can take their spot. We will never order here again. It's an absolute joke. I would give zero stars if that was an option. Avoid this place...

Let me say up front that we had a nice server... too much to do and took forever but friendly nevertheless. I tried this restaurant again after having given it a break for about a year when my egg rolls were made with cold raw pork and it grossed me out so much I had to take a break. (The server at the time said the cook was brand new) This visit the food was meh to bad but at least it was cooked. I ordered the lettuce wraps appetizer and I couldn't taste the actual food bc the sauce or spices were so heavy or overcooked. Drinking soy sauce would have been akin to the flavor experience. My main course was similar... sauces overcooked or overused to the point of killing any other flavors. It is clear to me that the cook needs more training. I hate leaving reviews like this because I'm sure everyone is just so nice.... but I'm a paying customer and I expect better than meh to bad. We ordered dessert (hoping for something with good flavor) and paid $6 for a teeny bundt cake that was 6 spoonfuls of more meh.. it was honestly the most disappointing dessert ever. It was worth $1.50. I won't be back. I gave this restaurant one more go and it's not worth it. I want to leave 1 star but I try not to...
