My family really enjoyed this place and we went here a few times while in town. The menu isn't massive, but what they do have on there is good. We tried several items and were never disappointed. The Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich was exactly what I expected and was very good. The Hot Turkey was a crazy open faced sandwich with basically Thanksgiving dinner on it. The kids meals were good, and our kids liked them. The corn chowder was one of our favorites and we got it each time we came. I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you are staying nearby. Update: We went back to this place on a second trip to the area, and it is still really good. This time we tried the breakfast sandwich, which came with some really good potatoes as a side. The corn chowder was really good the last time we were there and it still is. This place is a great solid choice to eat at, and we'll be going any time we are in Park City.

We were looking for a place to get some dessert and coffee when we arrived in Park City on a Wednesday night. We saw that Windy Ridge was still open and arrived half an hour before closing. We were the only ones there that late on a weeknight, but our server (I don't recall the young man's name) welcomed us with a smile and seated us even if I'm sure he would have rather gone home early. We ordered the apple pie and the croissant bread pudding. The portions were huge and both were delicious! I would definitely order the bread pudding again. It was not overly wet, but you could definitely taste the custard, just the way I like it. After a not so satisfying dinner somewhere else, the dessert at Windy Ridge made our night! Thank you to our server for making us feel welcome in Park City!

Step 1: Begin with a bran muffin from The Bakery at Windy Ridge (one of Bill White's food properties). Step 2: Order the best Steamers you'll ever eat. The most tender, with great texture. Step 3: Order the best burger I've enjoyed in some time. I began by asking the server of this was another one of those boring burgers. She assured me that it was worthy of a foodie's adoration. That was an understatement. It was the perfect blend of Best Backyard BBQ Dad, and world class foodie chef. Thanks to the staff at Windy Ridge Cafe, and Bill White (imma call you Billie... hahaha). If you're in Park City for a week, and you don't indulge in all eight of the BW properties, it's your loss.

Food was great, service was beyond horrible.

The hostess made sure to tell us we could have a table only if we could be out of the restaurant at a certain time. One hour from our arrival time.

Our table was not served water until after beers had been spilled across the table/served and our dinner order taken. The server even mentioned how it was not their job to do water service.

The server took Goverment Issued ID's away from our table to be viewed by a manager. It is a Federal Law that you cannot remove an ID from the citizen. Could have easily brought a manager over to check the ID's at the table as every other establishment follows.

The server spilled multiple beers and refused to compensate for their spills. We were never given any assistance in the cleanup of the beer spills. An extra napkin would have been nice.

After all of this ridiculousness the server never came back to the table except to collect the bill.

Would highly recommend takeout as the food is amazing. Very unprofessional and rude staff.

Highly recommend training staff members that have been employed with Windy Ridge Cafe for over a year on basic customer service and food service.

Very disappointing as Windy Ridge had been highly...

We thought we would try the outdoor patio and it started off good, however eventually the bees took over our dinner and our evening experience was quit disappointing. This was not the fault of the restuarant but that is not why I gave a lower review of this place. The menu is simple and yet everything was priced higher than expected. We were thinking the food must be well worth the price. Let's see... When my daughter orders a $20 hamburger and added bacon to it for an additional amount, I would have expected something more. Then my wife and I ordered the steak - so disappointing. Although I will admit it that the brussel sprouts that came with the steak were delicious. My son had the bowl of baked macaroni and honestly I wasn't impressed. Lastly, the service was good however just as were done with our meal and the waitress brings us our bill, we ask if she could split the bill. She came back 20 minutes later only to drop the bills off. Didn't stick around to see if we were ready, nor took any of our plates away. So we waited... Finally after another 20 minutes of not seeing our waitress, we got up and went inside to pay. Conclusion... we won't be going back to...

Bad food and bad service. I don't understand the good reviews on this place. I went based on the reviews and was extremely disappointed. I got the almond trout with grits. It was bland and cold. The dish looked like someone threw it up. The grits were dry and clumpy, and the fish looked like someone just threw a handful of almonds, green beans, and cherry tomatoes on it. Others in our group got a burger and some chicken dish and were equally disappointed. Hoping to end the meal better, I got the bread pudding. It was just as bad. It was extremely dry and had very little flavor or even sweetness. There was no sauce on it to speak of. The meager scoop of vanilla ice cream was the only decent part. Our waiter took 15 minutes to come to our table initially. Then we didn't see him again until we asked someone else to find him so we could get water refills and dessert. To end the evening, we didn't get a check. The waiter just told us the amount and asked for our card. To make matters worse, the restaurant smelled like gas stove fumes the whole time....
