On our drive from the airport to the hotel, Treasure Mountain Inn, I began to look for a restaurant since we were starving. I googled and looked through so many Park City, Utah options, pictures, ratings, and read many peoples reviews. We decided on Fuego’s to be our first food experience while vacationing in Park City. I’m a vegetarian and my boyfriend really wanted a steak. Even though there are many steak houses in the area, we chose Fuego’s for their wide range of menu items. Pizza, roasted artichoke’s, pasta, seafood, steak, chicken, many different kinds of salads… delicious!! They have a full bar, also. The big screen TV had a sports game on and the atmosphere was clean. I didn’t utilize the restrooms on this visit, but you can choose to sit at the bar or at one of their many tables. They do not have booth seating from what I noticed, but the food was great! They even place a small plate with a spoon to scoop up grated cheese or crushed red pepper as you feel needed. My boyfriend ordered the steak with veggies and spaghetti, as he saw someone’s picture posted about this dish and he enjoyed every minute of that! I got the fettuccini Alfredo and garlic bread. You can smell and taste that this is definitely homemade and cooked with care. They have a Fuego’s homemade pizza sauce and spaghetti sauce, too. We didn’t try the pizza, but would like to before we leave town. Park City, Utah is definitely a foodie’s heaven! The prices here weren’t too bad, mid-range, and well worth it. We ordered two beers and extra garlic bread for his steak dinner. Total bill was $60.00. We visited last night at 8pm which was an hour before closing. The food came out surprisingly fast and the restaurant had about four other tables they were servicing at the time we ordered. It was a short drive from our hotel room, but would have been a 30 minute walk if we had chosen to do that. Fuego’s was located nearby shopping and other restaurants inside of a plaza. Very close to a fresh market grocery store to pick up groceries for the way back to your hotel...
Read moreMy actual rating is ZERO stars. Surprised from all the good reviews on here. Frequented this place on Valentine's Day. Since it was a 30-45 minute wait at almost all places in PC decided to call in an order for pick up since it was 1/2 mile from where we were staying. Placed the order and quoted a 25 minute pick up time. Showed up 30 mins after the order was placed and told it would be 5 more minutes so I paid and watched the disorganized staff try to handle the crowd. Waited for another 35 mins until my food was finally ready. Got one "sorry" from the hostess. Sad thing is during the 35 min wait I watched them prep 4-6 orders for a delivery service. Don't know if my order was before, during or after but certainly did seem all the resources were thrown at getting those orders out the door first.
When I got the order home it was probably one of the worst take out orders I've experienced. I ordered the small spicy Sicilian pizza and it was a tale of two pizzas - one side was thin and burnt beyond edible, the other side was doughy and undercooked. The meatball soup was bland w 2 meatballs - one was charred on one side so much that it was inedible - the other was spongy and tasteless. Moved on to the lemon cookie for desert. It was so burned on the bottom that (even though it was served on top of foil) it melted the bottom of the styrofoam to go container. Both the soup and desert were touted as house specialties. Both were extremely disappointing.
My sons ordered the chicken piccata and the pesto penne. The pesto penne must have been prepared first because it was room temp cold. And continuing the theme of the night the chicken piccata was burnt on bottom.
In total I spent 86 bucks for a meal that wasn't worth 5. Maybe the dine in experience is better unfortunately I won't be trying it. If you do order take out do so from a delivery service since they seem to get preferred treatment - maybe their customers pay more and pray your food is not burnt. Figures the...
Read morePossibly one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant. My wife and I did some research for a pizza place while in Park City, and this place popped up. We go into the establishment, and see the host, who welcomes us. As he is attempting to take our information, Callie (as we came to find out her name) walks up to us and says "we don't allow dogs". We have a service animal with us, with proper identification, but keep in mind, she did not ask for ID, she simply said "we don't allow dogs. I replied back, "she's a service animal" (while my wife is looking for her ID car), and Callie just shook her head, and said "we don't allow dogs", to which I again replied, "she's a service animal", and at this stage my wife had found the ID and presented it to Callie. The host, attempting to hand over two menus to call was basically left standing and she stormed off to another staff member (later to find out he was the manager). Clearly, you can see she was talking to him (with her back to us) about us, as we were being seated. the manager then walks up to us, and I told him I did not appreciate the why Callie had treated us. He did not apologize or express that some sort of corrective action would take place. Instead, it was more like a "so what", demeanor. We sat there for a few more minutes, until my wife and I agree that we just wanted to leave due to the unwelcome treatment, and discrimination. I attempted to call and text the owner, Justin, several times without success to resolve this matter rather than posting about it, but he too ignored my attempts to...
