To my fellow Utah residents, I am writing to issue a serious warning regarding my recent online ordering experience with Este Pizza in Park City. What should have been a simple delivery order turned into a frustrating and dishonest ordeal. Undisclosed Third-Party Delivery: I placed my order for a calzone directly through Este Pizza's online system. Only later did it become apparent they use DoorDash for their deliveries. Had this been transparent upfront, I would have ordered directly through DoorDash myself, likely securing a better price and more control over the process. This lack of transparency feels deceptive. Unauthorized Automatic Tipping: To my dismay, Este Pizza automatically added a tip for the DoorDash driver before the order was even confirmed or picked up. I explicitly did NOT authorize this charge. I believe in tipping based on the quality and performance of service received, not as a mandatory pre-payment before any service is rendered. This practice is unacceptable and removes customer discretion. Subpar Food Quality: The calzone I received was excessively greasy, to a degree I have rarely encountered. Dismissive and Dishonest Customer Service: When I contacted the store to address these issues and request a refund, the manager/owner was immediately defensive. They attempted to deflect responsibility by claiming I had ordered through DoorDash, despite my clear evidence (confirmation and receipt) showing the transaction was directly with Este Pizza. Once confronted with this proof, their attitude became dismissive and unhelpful, rather than seeking to resolve the problem. This entire experience, from the hidden fees and unauthorized charges to the poor food quality and dishonest customer service, was deeply disappointing. Utah residents, I urge you to be extremely cautious and aware of these practices if considering an online order from Este Pizza in Park City. My experience suggests a lack of transparency and respect for the customer. Buyer beware.

We go to Park City every July & September and have always struggled to find decent take-out food options that aren't chains. After staying down in town for 10+ years, we started staying at the Westgate at the Canyons about 8 years ago. We rarely go down into town due to parking issues and, since the Pizza Hut closed, I decided to try Davanza's based on reviews. Granted, it was Friday of Labor Day weekend, but they put me on a long hold when I tried to call in my order. When it was approaching 10 minutes, I hung up and called my second choice Este Pizzeria. I am so glad I did, as their Gluten-free pizza was excellent and I wasn't even planning on getting that. Their typical pizza was very good and was New York-style, per my experience. I have had pizza in Manhattan, Queens and many times upstate in Saratoga Springs and I know it would be sacrilege to say it was as good as the best of those, but it was pretty close. So, yes, this will be our go-to place for takeout pizza in Park City or even possibly we'll dine in. I loved the fact they are close to the Canyons and finding parking wasn't an issue at all. Update 9/2/2022: We showed up here in late July a half hour before closing. They cooked our pizza, brought it out to their outdoor dining area in the back and threw in some extra slices for free. Good service like this brought us back for takeout tonight and we got a White Pizza and a Pepperoni Pizza. I am hesitant to get White Pizza outside of New York because it isn't always good, but dang, it was good here. Yet another reason to go here again. I wasn't expecting much from the pepperoni, but it was really good too. 😃

I’m not usually one to leave a one star review but in an effort to save someone else from making the same mistake I needed to say something. From what I’ve gathered they’ve exchanged 5 star reviews for an order of garlic knots. Even the garlic knots deserve a one star review. I have to imagine that’s the only reason for their incredibly misleading 4.4 stars. Save yourself some time and money and skip this place. The lasagna noodles were hard and uncooked, the Caesar dressing tasted nothing like a normal dressing (more like Big Mac sauce with vinegar) and the pizza was soggy. We are typically the type to bring home leftovers but there was no chance we were going to eat them so we left them there.

THIS. PLACE. SUCKS. If there was an option for zero stars, Este Pizza in Park City would get it in a heartbeat. This place is a complete disaster from start to finish, and I honestly don’t know how they’re still open.

First off, the service—or lack thereof—was absolutely appalling. We were left to fend for ourselves with zero help, and to top it off, my friend’s order was completely forgotten. When we pointed it out, the staff had the nerve to laugh about it. Can you imagine? We’re paying customers, and they're laughing at their mistakes. Unbelievable.

Now, let’s talk about the food—if you can even call it that. The pizza was some of the worst I’ve ever had. It was hard, flavorless, and topped with canned chicken. CANNED CHICKEN. It tasted like it had been sitting around for days, and it was impossible to even finish. We noticed that the table next to us left a whole pizza just sitting there- that was a clear warning that we didn’t heed. You’d be better off getting frozen pizza from the grocery store
Digiorno absolutely smokes these fools.

And to add insult to injury, they beg for 5-star reviews in exchange for free garlic knots. But here’s the thing— we didn’t even try them, because we weren’t about to waste our time on more garbage food after what we had already been served. The fact that they’re desperate enough to beg for reviews just shows how bad the food really is.

Este Pizza is a complete joke. The service is a joke, the food is a joke, and honestly, everything about this place is a joke. After a long day on the slopes, my friends and I actually had a great laugh about how trash the food is here, so thank you Este Pizza! Do yourself a massive favor and skip this place. There are far better options in Park City—this one is best left forgotten.

“This dude sounds angry
can it really be that bad??” OH...
