Let's see where to start? New patient, I live in neighborhood. Was going to stop in to make an appointment, sign on door says you can't enter without a confirmation number. Ok, go home, look up phone number... call... message says they don't monitor the phones anymore to send them a text, if your a new patient (which I was) go to website, send email. Which I did, then I got a text to schedule. A bit cryptic, but ok. I get this nasty text 2 days before my appointment saying this is my last chance to confirm the appointment or it would be canceled (it was the first correspondence I received since making the appointment) I confirmed. So first impressions... sucked.

Show up for my appointment, had to ring a doorbell, door was locked, she cracked the door open and wouldn't let me in without seeing the confirmation number. Next, she makes me sanitize my hands, swap out my mask, THEN PUTS MY COAT IN A TRASHBAG. (What?!?) I don't understand the logic, if my coat has Covid, doesn't my jeans too? Best part was... they didn't wipe down the chair between me and the person before me. So my coat is in a trash bag, but the seat where someone's hands touch, that's fine. Honestly I was so turned off from the booking process and the check in process, I should have just walked out.

My actual hair dresser was super sweet, no complaints against her, more just the way the place was run. So many places in the city to choose from, will definitely find a...

ERIC IS TRULY THE BEST STYLIST THERE IS!

I have been going to Bobby Mack & Co for a year now and my experience with Eric has been nothing short of amazing every single time. Not only is Eric an absolute blast (he is such a sweetheart!) in the sense that he's a great conversationalist and keeps me entertained and laughing throughout my appointments - he is magic as a stylist. Every time I show/tell Eric what I want my color/cut to look like he exceeds my expectations - every.single.time. He listens, he is patient when I can't decide exactly what I want and he makes sure that I feel incredible every time I leave his chair.

One of the things I like the most about Eric is that he's realistic in what my hair can handle. He doesn't over-promise. I have some breakage from years of flat ironing my hair (I know, I know...) and Eric is very careful to not do anything to further damage those pieces.

I trust him with my hair - it is abundantly clear how much pride Eric takes in his work and how he truly wants each of his clients to feel special. I have been to many stylists and none of them remotely compare to Eric. My hair has never looked better and I've never felt more confident than I do walking out of the salon! I recommend Eric to any and everybody because he is just that good. There is a wait list to get into the salon but it is well worth the wait, you will not be...

Yes, there is a waiting list. But me and SO many other reviewers can tell you how much it is worth! There is a waiting list FOR A REASON. I moved from Philly years ago and still make a 2 hour commute every 10 weeks to get my hair done by this salon because no other will do. The quality of Bobby Mack & Co is incomparable.

Any salon can sit you in a chair and take you from brunette to blonde in one day- but you'll be left with long term damage that only a grow-out and cut will be able to fix.
