Got a gel manicure last Thursday 6/12 I noticed after my appointment the quality of work wasn’t up to par like it’s usually is, my nails were uneven and the polish application just wasn’t right. And I planned on telling the nail tech I was going to that at the next appointment … but two days later (Saturday evening) two of my nails chipped and a third was starting to chip. Monday comes around, one of the chipped nails started to lift even more and my nail broke. Tuesday evening the third nail gel polish lifted completely up as I was trying to remove the gel from the broken nail and that nail broke too.
After my second nail broke I made an appointment for the next day 6/18 to remove the gel polish on the rest of my nails and to cut them down to match the length of the broken ones. I asked if I could get a refund due to my nails not lasting a full week. I was told they couldn’t do a refund and the best they can do is a discount for my next appointment. A $5 discount on a $40 gel manicure. So I asked can they do a bigger discount because my nails started to chip two days after I got them done. Thanh said no and that I should have called them when it happened so they could fix it (it happened Saturday evening, they were closed and closed on Sunday). I cant call if you’re closed.
And as mentioned above an appointment was made on Tuesday evening for Wednesday afternoon for the gel removal/trim because at that point I was over it and wanted to give my nails a breather until I got them done again. Read moreI walked in with my daughter, I literally drove 30 mins to get there only to be told that they were fully booked at 5:30pm after the worker asked me how can she help me I proceeded to tell her two pedicures and one full set for my daughter who is going to prom it wasn’t welcoming at all it’s funny because I was told by one of the nurses I work with that they do good nails to bad I won’t be going back first impressions are everything for me and it was giving they didn’t want to do the work because I believe they closed at 7 or 8 either way I’ll be keeping my money in my pockets and never returning I felt very uneasy
Update: so today I called to explain two weeks ago I called to see if they took walk-ins because of the reply they gave to me on line and I told them no one explained the policy when I called or when i actually came in I was told why would they have to explain that I said because how would your new clients know that was a wait list if it wasn’t listed she says okay im busy sorry if no one explained so carelessly me or the people I work with won’t be attending here again it’s all about how you treat people and I feel me and my daughter was treated unfairly at this shop...
