The pharmacists are very kind and helpful here, but from what I've observed, the service is poor because they are severely understaffed, and have limited hours on the weekends. When I've been there, there's only been one pharmacist behind the counter, and usually one other Walgreens employee who's not a pharmacist. This means that when the pharmacist has to deal with customer questions or insurance problems, the only thing the other person can do is ring people up, but not deal with the prescription issues. Since the insurance companies (at least mine) are so incompetent, and there's a lack of communication to the consumer, this makes for a lot of work for the pharmacist, and causes delays for everyone in line. The rest of the store seems to be well-staffed. So unless the insurance companies are going to do a better job of problem solving and communicating with the patients, then it would help everyone around if there were two pharmacists on hand, or at least during some of the busier hours. That being said, I'm very appreciative of the extra steps the two pharmacists I've worked with have taken for me, including calling my insurance during pharmacy closing time to ensure I have my...
Read moreI never thought I'd be giving this store a bad review but here it is.I have been shopping here for over a year and I kept coming back because the staff was awesome-they were all friendly, the cashiers were great, the managers were always ready to help and the guys in the photo department were always very patient with me.On my last visit I was trying to get some information from the photo department and the little asian girl was very rude and didn't seem to know what she was doing. She has been consistently rude to me even when she's in other departments. The cashiers are not as friendly as they used to be.Their customer service in general (which is the thing that kept me coming back) is very bad.I hope they get some friendlier staff soon or I'll be taking my...
Read moreThis review is for the pharmacy only. I brought them a fairly complex situation where I partially filled the prescriptions (about 10 prescriptions) at one pharmacy, and the my insurance company said that the pharmacy was out of network and I could only get a 30 day supply. I needed a 90 day supply for travel, and this pharmacy did everything they could to call and talk to the insurance company, the other pharmacy and me, to take care of my needs. They also spend an ABUNDANCE of time reviewing every prescription with me, and showing how to administer the injections. It was SO different from my interaction with the first pharmacy where they did NONE of that, and as a new patient to these meds, I didn't even know what to ask. Really appreciate their time...
