We initially stopped at the gem mines and was looking at the airbrush t shirts booth outside of the store. My wife wanted to go in and look around with me and the kids. She had like 10 people to get souvenirs and gifts for.
My 5 year old son all of the sudden has to use the restroom immediately. He begins asking anyone he sees (but in a polite voice) can you tell me where the restroom is please. He takes off I get onto him for running and apologize because he knows better. My son is not perfect, I make no excuse for him he is all boy, he is full of energy, and will talk the ears off an elephant. When he has to go he has to go and got excited. He had asked 2 of the employees behind the counter and another person just shopping and she laughed and told him where it was.
I come back and find a few toys for my son that he wanted. We pay for them and the lady was nice and gave my son a little gift. Plan at this point was to take kids and give my wife alone time to shop in peace. She gives me a angry look and says nope I will go somewhere else.
Unbeknownst to me while I was taking care of my son and his restroom visit. My wife overheard one of the employees make a rude remark in regards to my son while talking to another employee and customer. I don't know the specifics of it but I do know it made my wife very upset and we will not come back...
Read moreThis was such a fun and unexpected gem! Bigfoot’s Country Barn is a free selfie park that's absolutely perfect for families and anyone who loves unique photo ops. Even though there were some rain puddles from earlier weather, it didn’t stop us from having a great time.
The park is fenced in, which made it feel safe and manageable with kids. There’s a wide range of creative backdrops and artwork, everything from quirky to whimsical, and the effort that went into the displays really shows. We took so many great pictures!
It’s set up for all ages, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Even though it’s free to enter, there’s a donation box on-site to help with upkeep, and we were more than happy to contribute. The gift shop is adorable, full of neat finds and fun items. We picked up a little something as a souvenir.
The staff was very friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area, it’s low-cost, high-fun, and totally...
Read moreThe Manager (a scared looking girl employee told me his name was Tim) kept staring at my wife and made her very uncomfortable. When he started flirting with my wife I asked him to stop he told me he owned the place and could do whatever he wanted in "his store" and that we needed to pay for our items and leave or he would call the police.
We left the items and refused to pay and he followed us to our car taking pictures of our car (which is creepy) and kept saying he was going to call the police and that he wasn't looking at my wife because she was "ugly!"
I visited this store years ago and it was a wonderful place but this guy, Tim, is ruining it and we will never ever return again if he still owns and runs it! If you have a beautiful wife and don't want her harassed then maybe visit any of the other store in Pigeon Forge.
Putting up with this wasn't worth an overpriced Bigfoot t-shirt made...
