I came to Gatlinburg for a few day get away trip and wanted to get some Carmel popcorn and was looking at the most highly rated popcorn places to go to and this store popped up. We seen that it was still open and that they were open until 10pm which was awesome for us because we were like great we can have it for our midnight snack. We get there around 9:15 and the doors were locked and a woman who was in there seen us and then quickly ran to the back. I understand that places like that close if they are slow but I can’t believe how rude the employee was. She could of at least came over and said what time they reopened or what was going on. I'll make it short and simple. The only pro is the popcorn is delicious. That being said, I will never again shop at this store. From the moment we walked in, the perception I got was we were treated as unwelcome and unwanted guests. The sales associate had a very cold and unpersonable disposition and attitude. I said we're here to try some popcorn and we're here to spend some money. I was told in an unfriendly manner we only get to try 2 per person. We tried getting the sales asst to engage in conversation with us and did not other then to tell us multiple times chose wisely cause you only have x amount of tastes test. I’ve been coming to this pop corn shop since I was a little girl now I’m an adult and still go in to get my usual bag of blue raspberry flavored popcorn. The staff is always the best and super friendly as well. Recently though yall have started making the blue raspberry flavor chewy and I do my once a year trip to get it and once I go to eat it the whole things ruined because it tastes soiled! I tried telling the staff it’s not the best in the kindest words and ruins the trip I made to get it but I was informed it was to help children eat it better. There is an entire shop full of other candies and treats for children to enjoy please don’t ruin the popcorn! Please go back to the original or make a few flavors that are only chewy and leave my blue raspberry out...
