Five Guys — Restaurant in Pigeon Forge

I went in the middle of the afternoon manager was there and three employees. I was the only person in the place. One guy finally took my order all I wanted was ff. So they put them in the fryer and I waited and waited they were all talking to each other about ? Who knows not work. Meanwhile a couple came in he took their order and never checked on my fries. Employees kept talking. Finally and I mean finally one employee went over and took the fries out and guess what they were dark brown almost black and hard. Tasted burnt. I didn't say anything because what would be the point. I'm not a Karen. Plus I was on my break and I was already gone 30 minutes with no one in the restaurant. Ridiculous how they don't care. I love five guys and if the staff were a bit more friendly I would have given 5 stars.i was greeted at the door and told by a staff member 'the only 4 top available is over there, if you need more room you gotta eat outside because I cannot push tables together, they won't let me.' Well outside was hot and sunny and we had an infant, a toddler and there was no umbrellas or shade. We ordered and crowded around the four top to wait The food was great but the staff not so much. It was payday and as I was tryjng to pick up the food and get drinks several employees were clustered together in the pick up area waiting on checks and talking. 100% recommend. Stopped here for lunch and had a GREAT experience!! Very clean store and great staff. Food was delicious! The staff all seemed very friendly and welcoming. However the man that took our order named Chuck went above and beyond! I have been to quite a few Five Guys and have never had someone so friendly, and helpful take my order. He had a great attitude that was contagious you could tell that he loved his job and talking to new people. He even took the time and explained to us about how many each size fry would feed so that we could distinguish between the sizes- something no other Five Guys crew has ever bothered to explain.
