My 11 year old daughter was very excited to see that "Sweet!" had a whole bunch of boxes of Labubu dolls stacked front and center at their entrance. I had no idea what they were at the time but she said she was so excited because they're always sold out everywhere due to being very popular. She wanted one very badly so she chose to spend $33.89 of her own money to buy one. She opened it up the minute we left the store and she was initially very happy. However, that changed the next morning when we read online about fake Labubu dolls and realized the "Labubu" that Sweet! sold my daughter for nearly all of her money is absolutely 100% a fake that they are trying to pass as real and authentic. Fakes are apparently so rampant that there's a term for them -Lafufus - and unless you are very well educated on Labubus and how to spot fakes, there is no chance you'd have any idea that Sweet! is selling fakes. The boxes only have very minor differences like the tiny fineprint that says "BOBMART" instead of "POPMART" (POPMART is the original manufacturer of these dolls and the POPMART logo is on the boxes of the fake Labubus at Sweet!). What's potentially even worse is the fact that Sweet! is selling their FAKE Labubus for MORE THAN A REAL LABUBU COSTS AT MSRP. The cashier even said "enjoy your Labubu!" to my daughter. If Sweet! had a sign indicating that they're just "replicas," or put stickers on the boxes that let people know, or sold them for much less than legitimate Labubu dolls... that would be respectable. But nope. Sweet! chose the slimy and fraudulent path. I really hope this review helps save someone from throwing money...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I were basically thrown out of the store for them closing at 830 on Valentine's day even though it said it was open until 10 on Google and we specifically went out of the way to come to The Island to this candy store. After they repeated "we are closing in 5 minutes" to every customer shopping and everyone entering. Both of us have dietary restrictions and do not consume animal products or gelatin, so we were searching for things we could eat in the first place although we were trying to hurry and make our decisions because we were so rushed. After we decided on things to check out, the same boys that were staring at us and insinuating we needed to leave, made fun and patronized our choices and laughed at us for the candy we selected and spoke under their breath to each other about us as we were leaving. We would've spent much more there if we were aware of the ingredients in the candy in the plastic bins as well. The guy with the beard and glasses that has several bad reviews was exceptionally rude. We uses to enjoy going here and now I don't know if we...
Read moreThe staff was extraordinarily friendly and were very welcoming. This store had a very warm presence to it and felt like a nice family-owned location. The location is easily accessible and located on The Island in Pigeon Forge. There was a large variety of selection from chocolates, fudge, chocolate covered candies, sour patch candies and so much more! There were also some gift items such as stuffed animals available for purchase. The store was very clean and organized making it very easy to shop. I would highly recommend this location to satisfy your...
