Walgreens — Local services in Pleasant Prairie

We placed a special order in-store with the manager on duty for 4 cases of small canned hams that we were going to donate to a food pantry for the upcoming holiday season. He said they’d be in on Saturday.

On Monday we returned to get the hams and manager was not there. No one in store was aware of the order and it was determined the cases had not arrived.

Finally, the store general manager appeared and told me that his assistant had made a mistake and should not have taken a special order and that the Walgreens system limits orders of that item to a quantity of 2 cans (not cases). He was surprised because that manager had worked for Walgreens for 2O + years. The store manager was very nice and apologized several times.

If was a Big disappoint and waste of our time because of apparent bad training and faulty systems. They just don’t have their retail act together.

I really don’t like writing bad reviews , however, I showed up at 9:54 and the doors were already locked. I understand some customers will be inconsiderate and hang out in the store after they’re supposed to close, but I have worked in Customer Service and I don’t think I deserved to have to go drive out of my way to get what I needed from Walgreens because they didn’t feel like staying a couple more minutes.. It’s not even like it was a holiday or anything. It’s a Sunday night.. I really hope corporate shows up on their doorstep one day and they have the doors closed early. I would’ve had my butt chewed out if I would’ve done that at a big corporation store shame on...

The pharmacy is nothing but a joke! I had surgery in wis but live in Illinois, so my meds have to go their. Now it's 4 hrs round trip. On 3x now we have e gone to get my meds they won't give them to is cause they need Dr's approval. THEY HAVE IT! JUST NEED TO LOOK. now today I figured change the location. The new one says yep its ready at that one we can't fill it. We said are you 100% sure! Yep ok drive the 30 mins to this one and guess what they only have enough for mine. No one else. So didn't want to give to is. Long story short 30 mins of back and forth with them and they finally give them to me. Really. This has got to be the worst...
