I’ve never had White Castle burgers except for those frozen sliders bought in the grocery store. I got some shrimp bites that were phenomenal and I also really enjoyed the onion rings. I got to gave sliders the bacon which I don’t believe I’ve seen in stores. I actually thought the burgers meat patties could be thicker, but other than that, they were OK, but what made the visit was the fact that the girl working the drive-through was very patient with me because it took me a little bit to order seeing as how I’ve never been there before and also, when I got the food, it was the hottest food and the freshest food I’ve ever gotten in a drive-through restaurants in my life. Not sure how they did it, but I’ve never gotten fast food so hot when it was handed to me, everything was hot and fresh and when I asked her on the at the menu board, how big a small versus a medium of the shrimp bites were or if she could guesstimate how many came in one she actually said she would go count them and she came back and said you’d get 11 of them in a small which I thought was awesome. Nobody does that ever so in this state, we have a total of one white Castle restaurant in the whole state and it’s right down by the Illinois border between Milwaukee and in the Illinois border in Kenosha I’ll definitely visit that restaurant again because of that girl her attitude and the absolutely delicious hot food I got in the drive-through she deserves a raise. Nobody else does this. I’ve never seen and I’ve never seen any other person go through all the trouble to count how many shrimp were in the container like that I didn’t catch your name and I didn’t think of my receipt so I don’t know her name, but if White Castle people read this, there was a little girl working in the drive-through on Wednesday night at the restaurant in Kenosha Wisconsin. It was about 10 o’clock and they closed at 11. and if you read this give that girl a raise because she deserves one and probably a promotion as well at the very least I would suggest doing whatever to keep her there because she’s an she’s outstanding employee with great customer service skills so to whoever you are there in Kenosha, the drive-through 1030 at night on Wednesday, February 26 thank you very much. You made my whole night and you definitely made sure that I will...
Read moreAlright. Ya'll better buckle up and prepare yourself for this ride of cardio-vascular blockage that will be moving through your capillaries. My unsuspecting friend and I were spending the day together, hitting up the shopping malls in Mt. Pleasant and I gotta say, this was an unpleasant end to the day. I will begin by saying what I was a fan of at this establishment: the restraunt was clean, the food came relatively quickly, it was cheap, and it was convenient. Now, if you enjoy this food, all the power to you. But for the unsuspecting persons who are like my friend and I, it is my civic duty to inform you of what is to come. My friend and I, who were starving and hadn't eaten all day, were in the mood to max and had seen how Herald and Kumar had gone through hell and back to get that delicious White Castle. So interested to learn their intense passions, we decided to try out the food. Now as I stated before, the staff was very kind and quick to getting us our food but they do not hand out condiments or napkins unless you ask, which are both neccesary as the food without the condiments is like eating a tasteless, gelationous paste on a bun. Now the napkins are necessary because the greese will drip all up and down your hands and that's gotta be wiped up. Now the food with the condiment was pretty decent, but without the condiments was pretty hard to stomach. If you're in the mood for just a large filler for cheap, this is the place, but other than that, just hit something else...
Read moreIf I could give minus five (-5) stars, I would. The Kenosha location is horrible. If you value your health, stay away. I hope the Kenosha Health Department is reading this. I grew up, north of Chicago and use to love stopping at White Castle. Back then, it was a real treat. I can't remember specific prices, but I think those tiny "hamburgers" were something like .15 / .25 cents? All I know; is that you could get a big sack of them for a few bucks. And they were hot and fresh. Sadly, no more. I stopped at the Kenosha location, last week. Afterwards, I was nauseous for the next three days. After placing my order, I should have suspected there would be a problem. The people working at the drive up, appeared to be recent escapees from the state prison. They were dirty and rude. I had to repeat my order three times. Were they illiterate or just screwing with the customers? At the window, they continued to feign ignorance. They seemed to be mocking the customers who were ordering / in line, behind me. When I eventually received my order, the food was luke warm and the bag was soggy from moisture. I wonder how long those burgers were packed in there? Clearly, they were less than fresh. The fries were stale too from being packed in the same wet bag. And to ad insult to injury; the stale, soggy order, cost me $12+! Needless to say, I will NEVER stop at White Castle again. And I recommend, you do the same. Instead, try the Culver's, just north on Green Bay...
