Almost great experience and amazing food! It is a small space so felt a bit cramped. We had a 4:15pm reservation for my husband’s birthday for just the two of us. They asked if we wanted a two seater in the middle of the empty room or by the window. It was sunny out and I thought by window would be great. Except once we were seated and ordered drinks, a round table in the corner meant for a party of 5 was seated with 6 people right on top of us. Literally, if I wanted I could have touched the back of the person sitting almost against our table. Plus we felt almost like we were part of their dinner party because we could hear every word of their conversation because of the tight space. It was a bit awkward and uncomfortable. Our server Laurie was efficient. We ordered drinks and dinner. My husband had the salmon dish that was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. I had the linguine pescatore with white wine sauce and it was delicious. It had white fish, clams, mussels, scallops, and shrimp with linguine pasta. The sauce was garlicky with white wine. Only one of clams did not open. The dinners came with warm rolls, and extraordinary, great quality olive oil with a garlic and herb blend which is amazing. We both had the garden salads with Italian dressing. You can order a Cesar or Greek salad for an up charge. By the time we were ready to leave a party of 5 was seated on the other side of us which we felt pretty closed in and part of their conversation as well. Next time, we will be more aware of where we are seated or perhaps sit in the bar. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and we are excited to come back again to try the pasta dishes on the menu.

Updated - we went back again for another bday celebration and had awesome seating and an amazing dining experience. Service and food were outstanding. The only thing is when I made the reservation online the form asked if the reservation was for an occasion and I put birthday. Also, I mentioned it was my bday to our server and they didn’t offer a complimentary dessert which was a bit disappointing. Still highly recommend this awesome restaurant for the high quality of fresh food, made to order and served with special detail and care! Lots of menu items to choose from plus specials that are delicious. We look forward to...

Disappointment

First the food was very good.. However, for 2 people they slapped on a 19% gratuity to the bill, which was a surprise to us. When speaking to the owner we were told that the wait staff is paid very little an hour and people don't usually leave a big enough tip but adding what boils down to a tax is not the answer. Imagine if everywhere you shopped you had to tip 19%. How about doing what every other business out there does pay a decent wage to begin with.

We were regular patrons for some time now and gave good tips if service was good which it usually was. Its one thing if you want to charge more for menu items where we can decide what we want to pay it is another to add a 19% VAT tax to our bill which on top of a sales tax of 5.5% equals 24.5% in total tax...no thank you! My question to the owner is a simple one - how would you like to pay a 19% VAT tax for every product and service you purchase? My guess is your answer would be the same as mine - no thank you.

Some suggestions for the restaurant..

The servers should promote dinner specials, drinks and deserts. I was surprised that at no time were dinner specials mentioned.

Re examine your menu for items and reduce menu items that yield little profit and look to maximize items which do..like noodles or chicken dinners which I would have to imagine are decent money makers.

Look into where wait staff spends their time and try to reduce it.. From our observations it seems the servers have to do most everything, how about have someone else bring out the food when it's ready and check on drink refills then fewer servers can focus on more tables offering better service. Moreover, you could have faster table turnover .

You could make certain services more self service like drink refills..come up to a counter and get it ..

In sum, a 19% gratuity implemented as a tax is not the answer. Pay your people a reasonable wage (say $10 an hour) to begin with which when combined with tips will easily exceed $15 an hour. Then make up the difference following the handful of suggestions above (to start with). As noted the food is great and with a few tweaks you will be where you want to be and with plenty of people applying to...

I have a little bit of insider info on this place, and it's all good news. I have done both HVAC and Refrigeration practically my whole life so I have worked in many restaurant kitchens. Tuscany Bistro has the most clean & professional commercial kitchen I have ever serviced in my life. Because of my work experience here, my wife and I decided to give them a shot about a year ago, and they quickly become a favorite us. We haven't been served a single dish by Tuscany Bistro that wasn't the image of perfection. Today we started out with the Fried Ravioli that is served with a house made red sauce. We ate every last piece and the sauce was so good I could drink it. We both got the Italian Wedding Soup which I am quite familiar with and it was some of the best Italian wedding soup I have ever had, and it was served with fresh italian rolls with the very best garlic infused olive oil. My wife got Gnocchi Dello Chef which was served with a house made red sauce. The gnocchi was cooked to perfection and the house sauce was bold and flavorful. I got the Truffle Ravioli that was served with a white mushroom sauce, prosciutto chips and a beautiful garnish. It was one of the best dishes I have ever had in my life and I'm telling you I would happily pay $100 for another plate it was so good. The sauce was sweet and rich. The ravioli was packed with truffles and had a rich flavor. The prosciutto chips were crisp and delicious. All of this and I haven't even mentioned the service! Which was also top notch. We were seated in the bar and our waitress was still able to give us everything we needed in a timely manner while still taking care of everyone seated at the bar. 10/10 we highly recommend. Keep up the great work, Theresa and team!

05/09/25 Update: Zachary is the best waiter in the whole world and absolutely deserves a raise! We will be tipping extraordinarily well.

Zachary did an AMAZING JOB! He was very knowledgeable of the menu, cocktails, and their wine selection, though we don't drink, we certainly appreciate his expertise. The food was delicious as usual, Zachary was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided us with top notch hospitality - he made sure we always had everything we needed. Keep up the great...

I hardly ever write bad reviews, but this place deserves one. First of all, do yourself a favor and don't order pizza from this place. Our waitress inexplicably had a dismissive attitude with us, several times. We had to ask for our water twice and then she got our simple order wrong. We asked for red peppers to be added to their gourmet sausage pizza. We received a cheese pizza with red peppers on it. Okay, so anybody can make a mistake. When we asked them to remake the pizza, she offered to bring extra sausage on the side and suggested we could just put it onto the pizza. The pizza was terrible thin-crust pizza anyway. We asked to speak with the manager. When she came over, she was not very empathetic for our situation and she said that they were having a shortage and staffing that evening. Let me point out that another waiter (pleasant young guy with curly brown hair) had actually come to us and asked if we had been taken care of, because he noticed that we had been sitting there for a while and did not have any water. My friend had ordered a drink, and he believed that our entire meal should be comped and we just wanted to leave. The manager said he had to pay for his drink (which I don't necessarily have a problem with) but she was very transactional and not very customer-oriented about her approach. It was a $7 drink and I hope that the $7 were worth them receiving this bad review. The place seems like it has a big menu and the other food (like pastas) looked good, but the poor treatment that we received deserves this review.

5+5+5+5🌟 First of all, I have to give props to Zachary. This gentleman had to have been a cyborg! The amount of ground he covered when we were there, he probably would have completed a marathon. Very knowledgeable, about the cuisine served and the area the cuisine originated in Italy. My great grandparents came from Sicily, Palermo to be exact, and the food was much different than northern Italy. That being said, it's all good, 🤌gabito??? My wife had the linguine and white wine sauce with the scallops, shrimp, muscles, clams plus a 7 oz lobster tail. And of course the side salad. I had the spicy Italian sausage with the al dente pasta. It's nice to go to a place that knows how to cook the pasta without turning it into mush. I grew up eating sweet sausage, neck bones, and the rich tomato sauce cooked for about 8 hours, The fresh mozzarella, scamorts, parmesan, asiago, gagouts and mushrooms with pasta. And was drinking wine before I was 13. It's interesting how Italy is so different in it's food offerings from one end to the other, but it's all delicious! They treat you like family, te amo familia!
