Upon failure of our dishwasher we purchased a new one from a local dealer in Tacoma. We were very disappointed in the product performance and the insufficient details represented by their salesman and returned the appliance.
Fortunately we discovered FREDERICK'S Appliance whose salesman gave us accurate, unbiased product information. We purchased a dishwasher that surpassed our expectations. From the personal attention given to "customer satisfaction" it was immediately clear this company and the professional sales staff knew their product lines and was dedicated to properly explain all options available in order to make an informed purchase decision.
That was only the beginning of what impressed us about Frederick's Appliance. We were greeted with courtesy at the door and were introduced to the owner, Eric Blakemore who treated us like you would a good neighbor. Eric provided a personal tour of their operation and actually pulled our appliance off the warehouse floor himself. Before leaving, he gave us a tour their showroom. There are several "powered up" appliances that give customers a "hands on" experience with everything from gas stoves, refridgerators and washers/dryers. Unlike MOST appliance retail stores, you get to experience the performance of the product BEFORE you buy it. Again, another example of the importance this company places upon integrity, knowledge,convenience and CUSTOMER SERVICE.
We can't say enough about the exceptional buying and personal experience that made driving over 60 miles each way from Tacoma to Redmond worth it. If you are looking for someone willing to invest as much time in building a relationship with you as a customer, as they are in selling quality products, then don't waste your time with the large box stores. You have the perfect opportunity to develop a long-lasting relationship with a business that cares about their customers more than a quick sale! That is rare. We encourage anyone who is making a small or major appliance investment to visit and consider awarding your business to a company that demonstrates genuine interest in earning your business. Frederick's was my first choice for purchasing a washer and dryer - they were great when we purchased a chest freezer a year ago. I know that appliance supply chains are unpredictable due to COVID, so we planned ahead for this purchase. On Aug 14th we purchased the washer and dryer from Frederick's with a Sept 11th delivery date. At the time of purchase, the washer was in stock but the dryer needed to be ordered. We chose the model and color of the washer specifically because it was an option that was in stock. The dryer would need to be ordered, but we were very pleased that the washer could be held in-store for us until Sept 11th, at which time both the washer and dryer would be delivered and installed. We did all of this before closing on our house - somewhat risky on our end, but we really didn't want to move into a new house without a washer and dryer. On Sept 1st I called to check the status and to make sure we were still on track for the Sept 11th delivery date. I was told that I should call back the next week when they would have more specific information. So I called back on Sept 7th and was told that the dryer had arrived, but not the washer...the washer that we were previously assured was in stock and was being held for us! The new estimated delivery date of the washer would be mid to late October!! Understandable if we knew from the start that the washer would need to be ordered, but we were operating under the knowledge that the washer we purchased was being held for us. We can only assume that this washer was sold to someone else. We ended up canceling our order since we needed to place a new order ASAP (with a different store) and couldn't wait on the slow follow-up from Frederick's. Read moreFrederick's gets an A+ from front to finish. When our side by side fridge/freezer suddenly died, of course it was full of both frozen and fresh food. After loading everything into coolers with ice, we went on an online hunt to find a timely replacement. We realized quickly that due to COVID-19 manufacturing was months out, and were finding nothing but dead ends...until we were referred to Frederick's Appliances in Redmond. I called ahead to see if they actually had stock on hand, and Michael Factora was the Sales Professional that took my call. Within the hour I was there, Michael had helped me find options within my dimensions, answered all questions with absolutely no pressure, and even gave me time on my own to assess and determine my confident purchase. Not only did they have reliable brands for purchase, but also made room in their schedule for me the following day. Austin and Andrew arrived a few minutes early of the agreed upon window of time, and very professionally removed the old and installed the new.
