Please support this family owned business!! The city of Redmond doesn’t. They are forcing them to move AGAIN because developers are turning the entire property into high rise apartments. The city and one Redmond does absolutely nothing to help these businesses find another space Or even help financially with the cost of rent. However there is money because the developers get plenty of subsidies.I know personally at least 10 small businesses that have been forced to shut down permanently because there’s not any affordable lease space. I moved to Redmond 10 years ago and loved it because it’s a truly walkable city. I have an adult daughter who is disabled and cannot drive. And she’s able to walk to the store and the bus line because of the mixed use downtown. They helped my fiancé and I ship many bulky household items as we prepared for a cross country move.
