I had a package arrive yesterday that was put in a parcel locker and the key was not left in my mailbox. I called and spoke to Roy about this and he said he would look into it and get back to me the following day. Today, I received two packages in a parcel locker with the key left in my mailbox, however the package I had received yesterday was not among them. I called in and spoke to Paul who was very kind and said he would get in touch with my mail carrier and then get back to me on the status. He later called me back and just went off on me about how I don't know how parcel lockers work and that my mail carrier said I should learn how to use the postal service correctly and maybe should even just direct all packages to be received at the post office to completely bypass this from ever happening. (AKA ME DOING THEIR JOB) They treated me like a child. Basically I was in the wrong that my mail was delivered incorrectly. (My address is correct, I checked my original receipt) Paul put me on hold for 15 minutes until I finally decided to call back and spoke with Roy again. He was kind and listened to my frustrations about the inappropriate things were said to me over the phone. This post office NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO COMMUNICATE WITH IT'S CUSTOMERS! It is not fair to ruin someone's day just to be "in the right" when YOU ARE IN FACT in the wrong. I've had this happen to me 2 times now, the first time I called and my mail carrier came out and fixed HER mistake immediately and I was very appreciative of her coming out of her way to do so. This time however was COMPLETELY the opposite and it was unfortunate that this had to happen. I'd rather pay extra money to have packages shipped via FedEx then have this...
Read moreI cannot stand this post office. If I could post a zero star review I would. I have never once been there and had a positive or convenient experience. When I went to get a passport, I was told by the guy at the counter that I needed to call to set up an appointment, no big deal. I bike home to set an appointment, thinking that I would have to set one for the next week. Nope, I was able to set an appointment for less than an hour after I had originally gotten to the post office. I show up for my appointment, and who is the one who assists me with that but the same guy who told me I needed to call to set up an appointment! You couldn't just set an appointment up with me while I was there?! Then, when I need more passport photos later, I try to set up an appointment and am told that their one passport guy just called off sick for the next week? You only have one passport guy? Come one now. Training someone for that literally has to be as hard as training them to take a picture and telling a customer to read the instructions for filling out a passport form with the customer. They are constantly taking forever to get mail to me, never giving me the opportunity to just go to the post office and pick it up when their post man can't seem to figure out that the Bryan Frank on all my junk mail is the same Bryan Frank on the stuff I actually want to get. Then, they don't just hold the mail there at the post office, no, they keep sending it out so I have to just guess when I'm supposed to actually get there to intercept it, constantly riding there on my bike or walking, like it's the most convenient thing in the world. This post office needs to get their...
Read moreI've used this post office quite a bit over the past few years because of my home-based business, and I cannot think of one experience where the person behind the counter was even remotely nice, which is one reason I hate having to go there. I know post offices in general are not known for 'service with a smile', but this one is just awful. Recently we had a large envelope come in the mail that was torn wide open and was missing a number of items. There was even a list of items in the envelope, along with other papers, that said what was supposed to be included, and they were all missing. We went to the post office to tell them about it and they went on about how the company that sent it must have packaged it poorly (extremely unlikely-not the first package we'd received from that company, and they are very professional in their dealings), and refused to take any accountability for it at all. My wife was almost in tears when we left, their manners are so abysmal. It was honestly a matter that could've been cleared up pretty easily, but I guess that was beyond their...
