Edited review: Thank you for responding to my review. It says a lot about a store when management takes reviews seriously and follows up on them. I appreciate the point of view of your staff, and maybe I didn't hear their greeting. It's unlike me not to acknowledge someone who speaks to me. I completely understand the sales staff being engrossed in an important task, but another customer came in while I was browsing and was given attention. To be clear, I browsed the whole store, not only the sales rack. Customer service is a rare specialty these days, so it gives me hope that you're addressing this with your staff. FYI, I visited eight downtown clothing stores, and only three had staff who greeted me when I walked in. Only two offered to help me find something.
Original review with only three stars: This store has a lot of boho type clothing, some reasonably priced and some, like Johnny Was, understandably pricey. I usually buy a gift here each year for my daughter's bday. Last year the sales staff was very helpful. This year they were preoccupied behind the counter. I walked into the store two different times today in my search for the perfect gift, and neither time was I greeted or asked if I needed help. When I brought my items up to the counter, I explained it was a gift, yet she asked if I wanted to try it on, and then didn't offer gift wrapping until I requested it, knowing they always have gift wrapped my purchases. I think I'll go elsewhere next year after the unfriendly service. Plenty of cute shops...
Read moreI purchased a bracelet for my mom which at the time they were running a promotion. Receive a free bracelet. Within 2 days the ball came off the bracelet. I returned to ask if they carry a replacement ball. The manager stated they didnt carry any and they didn't give them away for free since they were included in the promotion. I had to let her know I wasn't looking to receive anything for free. I was willing to purchase one. But they recommended me to go to mishawaka and purchase another bracelet. I was very disappointed because I had sent my boyfriend in there to purchase charms for me for Christmas. I asked them to return the charms since I no longer had the bracelet at first they only wanted to give me a credit. That was not acceptable since I was not satisfied with this business. I took it back to the store thinking it just need to be clean and the clerk said she couldn’t put it in the solution cause it wasn’t made to clean the rose gold. She attempted to clean it with a cloth and stated that she advised customers not to wear it every day because it might turn color. I was not told that when me and my daughter picked it out.
