Charlatan! She really knows the tricks. She starts off by asking an openended question, then picks up on your subtleties. "Tell me about your demons." First clue, tell me what person has not gone through something difficult in their lives. Nobody, that's who. Second clue, how can anyone read a palm without physically holding the hand?!?! "Um, hello? Don't you need to see my palm to read my palm?" Don't believe me? Try asking a very specific question which doesn't give too much away. e.g. "Tell me about my friend." She'll follow up with, "What do mean?" Or, "What do you want to know?" Say, " Are they happy?" She'll say, "I feel they're happy." (Happy being dead/heaven/whatever I guess). While asking questions to determine how wealthy you may or may not be, she'll come up with a dollar amount to charge you for fixing whatever's bothering you. "Now sweetie, all I need is $400.00 to get rid of this demon for you." WOAH! What the what? Tricks? Third clue, If a woman seems not to be poor, (after asking how many houses you own, because everybody is either going to buy a home, move, or NOT, because you're renting.) She looks to see if you have nice fingernails. Been to a nail salon lately? No? Then there's a 50/50 chance you're in the medical field. Duh. Why did I fall for that one? I can't stop shaking my head in pure disgrace for initially being surprised by that. She'll engage you in conversation in order to get you talking. Especially these days, everybody wants to talk about themselves, no? She ends with a good will wish encouraging you toward your destiny's will. PFT! Salem Massachusetts has been a bucket list of mine for decades. I left Salem feeling stupidly duped by the blatant tourist TRAP! Might as well have taken a match to the cash, clicked my heels together three times and prayed to win the lottery after all of that days bad luck. Want to give away your money? There you go, feel right at home. Gosh I hate being the fool so soon departed from my money. Ugh!!! Tax free cash....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a wonderful experience! I was told about how god was with me and how I was blessed, and how to ignore all the hate I would receive in my life. Because I am a very giving person and most people will take advantage of that.
Edit: Now that it's been a while, and I'm far away from this place, I can finally update this with my real experience. I went here for a birthday trip with my mother, and the original review you see above was written while my mom was away getting cash from the ATM (because like many reviews here, they didn't accept card and made you leave to get money for them) and that I was borderline peer pressured into writing by my psychic. They made me read that 5 star review aloud to them to prove that I actually wrote it. I can only imagine how many other 5 star reviews happened out of similar situations. All the stuff that's said in my original review were basically the things that she rambled about to me for like 5 minutes straight. Nothing specific about my life, no past experiences brought up, no mentions of any other relationships I had, nothing. Well, she DID mention the possibilities of a boyfriend. Despite me being gay. She didn't even accurately read my palm, she just held my hands for 5 minutes, told me god was on my side, and then demanded 60 bucks from my mom. Don't go to this place. In fact, don't even go to Salem. Its just Northampton with a gimmick. (But if you do go, NEVER GO...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI got a tarot card reading from Debbie here and she was fabulous. The thing I was most looking forward to when I visited Salem was getting a reading by a true psychic. I walked around and got a feel for the place, and noticed that most of the places were very commercialized, and seemed like they were owned by corporations. Definitely not for me. I asked around and a local woman recommended her neighbor who gives readings out of her home. I was delighted to find it was close by, diagonally across from the Hawthorne Hotel. The minute I saw it I could feel the energy around the house and knew it was what I was seeking. Debbi was the best Iāve ever been to. It was almost as if she reached inside my soul and drew out the questions to the answers I was seeking. She read me like a book and was able to provide me with information that helped guide me with multiple areas in my life that needed direction. She has no time limit on the reading and her prices were lower than all the others. I already have an appointment scheduled for October when I return to Salem. I love it there, and I highly recommend this place for readings by Debbie. It is a family business and they have been there for decades....
