Was drawn into Happy Nails because it had a higher Google review than most others in the area but that could not have been more deceiving. We walked a long ways to get there and instead of normal pedicure chairs, there were rolling office chairs with bowls of water. You had to use your muscles the whole time to keep from rolling away from the ladies doing your nails. The two girls that work there were nice, but the actual nails are very over priced for the service offered. I went with my mom and her nails were cut in the wrong shape that she didn’t like, they used the cheese grater remover only on one of her feet and not the other, and it took forever. It was not relaxing and very overpriced. At the end, we paid in cash and they had the audacity to ask for a bigger tip than what we had left after they had clearly done my mom’s nails differently than she asked. Very nice lady that runs it, but not worth the money. The asking for more tips at the end was really the cherry on top of a bad experience. An owner should never expect a tip. She should price her service and what she thinks her time is worth and a tip should be a nice bonus on top, not something you beg for. Also the massage with lotion was horrible and the lotion stung....

I requested a gel color over my acrylics like I always do. I was told the nail tech didn't like doing that because it was was too hard to remove. Even after telling her that my regular salon would be doing them the removalnext time so she didn't need to worry about that part and letting her know I was happy to pay whatever extra I needed to to have them done how I like she insisted she didn't want to. There was no one else on the salon so it seemed strange because she wasn't busy. Long story short she did a brief paint over poorly done acrylics and sent me off. Less than a week later I had to have an entire new set put on because they had lifted so badly. I hope others have had much better experiences but for me it left MUCH to be desired. It's happy trails to...
Read moreI wish I could attach photos, they really speak volumes. I went into this salon to get a fill. The tech did not know how to properly fill my nails or use the equipment. It took over an hour for a fill. In the end I had to actually file my own nails- as they were so bumpy that I knew I couldn't deal with them looking and feeling so strange. The tech also didn't seem to keep her tools or station sanitary. There were pieces of other women's nails on the grate where my hands sat. I think they may use techs who aren't trained. I have product over the edges of my cuticle still. I've never had a person actually put product over...
