I hired Luna Flowers to do florals for my wedding in Fallbrook, CA including guest table centerpieces, a bridal bouquet, 3 bridesmaid bouquets, 3 boutonnières, a ceremony arch and aisle florals. I wanted a unique modern vibe using dried and fresh neutral flowers. Overall, I was disappointed in how the florals turned out for my event.
We went back and forth a lot during the planning process and I felt that Luna understood my vision and was moderately willing to work with me on my budget. Prior to the event we aligned on what types of florals would be used and I believe that the correct flowers were used, however, I think overall styling and execution did not come together.
The bridal bouquet was nice, but was delivered in a black vase when we had aligned on a white vase. This really looked off as all our decor was neutral tone whites. The bridesmaid bouquets were delivered using the types of florals we aligned on but ultimately looked lacking and thrown together. The altar arch used the right florals but the way they were styled and laid out was not pleasing or what I had asked for and this was very frustrating for me. They put the arch together very late in the day so there was no opportunity for me to look at it and give any feedback. Lastly, the guest table arrangements were not executed in a pleasing way, they looked random (in a bad way) and stiff.
I think if I had the opportunity for any feedback, we could have gotten the florals to look more like what I had envisioned.
I hope this...
Read moreOur experience with Luna Flowers and Aya was nothing short of spectacular! From our first consultation to the moment we saw our wedding venue the day of and were met with their breathtaking floral arrangements, we were blown away.
Aya truly listened to our vision and brought it to life in ways we couldn't have imagined. She created me a mood board durning the planning process and brought that to life in every way. I wanted a colorful garden type vibe and she blew us away with her work. I kept saying she pulled the vision I had in my mind and made it reality.
Not only were the flowers beautiful, but the level of professionalism and attention to detail demonstrated by Aya and their team was exceptional. They were responsive, organized, and went above and beyond to ensure that every floral element of our wedding was perfect.
Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the floral décor, and we have Luna Flower to thank for setting the perfect atmosphere for our special day. We wholeheartedly recommend them to any couple in search of a talented and dedicated wedding florist. Thank you for making our wedding day even...
Read moreSituations like this SHOULD NOT happen! I ordered a bouquet for the bride. Brought photos of examples, one of the main requirements: "the bouquet must consist of WHITE flowers only." This is an important condition, because the bride's dress did not include other colors or shades! The order was accepted, they asked to pay on the spot. We agreed that I would pick up the bouquet in the morning on the day of the event. (at 10 am)
Morning of the wedding day. 9:57. The salon is open, the bouquet is just in the process. The bouquet was made in my presence, so I INDICATED to the florist that we ordered a completely WHITE bouquet when I saw peach-colored flowers in it. To which she told me that it was white. "It might be more pink than white," I replied. She spread her hands, and from the expression on her face, I realized that someone did not know or did not understand what kind of bouquet should be in the work. ("florist" itself came to the end of the discussion, on the day of the order). And most likely there were no white flowers to replace in the salon, because this option was not offered to me.
It's wedding day!!! Of course, I don’t have time, neither to cancel the order, nor to look for another florist, nor to demand a refund; I had to order a small second bouquet with the inclusion of the same flowers, as nothing more “peach” would have been present in the photo and video. (That's another -$50 and waiting time). +: nice girls, fast buyer-seller communication process.
-: NOT WHAT is in order, lack of initiative to correct the situation, (probably) lack of communication within the team.
“I hope she likes it,” she said. The aftertaste was unpleasant.
