Trinitaria House Hotel & Vacation Rentals — Hotel in San Juan

This guest house is clean and comfortable. I don't know what happened in the past but they have a maid now. There is a mini fridge with complimentary water and Netflix in the rooms. The air blows cold and the balcony always blows fresh air. Calle Loiza is a party street and yes it is noisy. I went out on the weekend and had the time of my life. It just looks shady because all of the graffiti. Everyone is chill though...just say buen dia or buenas noches when you pass everyone. If you walk the other direction towards the beach, you will see a totally different upscale type of street with Restaurant Kasalta which makes the best soups and sandwiches. The property manager is very kind and put a microwave in the buffet room with plastic silverware for my child and I . She offers hot water and an array of body washes in the bathroom. This is the best hotel guesthouse that I have stayed at in San Juan. The hostels are not as clean or private as this guesthouse. It feels like you are at home when you enter this ...

I had no electricity in my room (the rest of the place did), my window was across a pub that played LOUD music all evening, and the place was DIRTY. I wouldn’t look behind the tv (which by the way did not have cable as it was supposed to). Not that I would have been able to listen to the tv at a normal volume with the noise outside. The manager told me to call booking to cancel it, as I moved to a hotel late in the evening, then refused to issue a refund for the 2 nights. The property is in the midst of a conversion but the front has recently been painted white and looks very fresh. The interior is dated, but clean. We had a basic room with en suite bath. Bed and linens comfy, robes in the closet. Smart tv and ceiling fan and in room air conditioning. We just needed it for a day and was a great choice. Its close the beach and a cool neighborhood, lots of convenient, yummy food and fun shops around. Its a great choice if budget is an issue and you still want good service and aren't spending a ton of time...
