Piso Viejo Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in San Juan

I loved the music. It was a Thursday night. They had live music and dancing... but their bar was terrible. I had mine and my boyfriend's first drink just fine, but when I asked for a second that's when things went wrong. The guy with the glasses, the bald one, took our order for the next round of drinks from him and he said okay. I even told him about the open tab we had. He went and took everyone else's order at the bar, and completely disregarded hours. After about 15 to 20 minutes of waiting, I mentioned it to the girl bartender and just asked her to close the tab. I I was highly upset, never got my second round of drinks, and just closed the tab. It was super unprofessional as a bartender, and they didn't even remember what my name was for the tab after I asked for it. They kept shouting out another name, assuming or thinking that that's the name that I said, but I gave them my first and last name and they still didn't know where my credit card was. I don't normally give a negative review unless it's actually something that bothered me. I'm quite easy-going, and I also work in a bar, but tonight...

We came with a big group on a Wednesday night. Service was very slow and they weren’t equipped to handle a larger group. We went to this restaurant / bar after hearing great things about the music there. We loved the music, the ambience, and the crowd, but more than that, I had one of the best cocktails of this visit (the tequila rosa) and we enjoyed cocktails at fancy-pants places like Mario Pagán and Social.
