8/8/25 They are great and professional my wife and I enjoyed our couples massage.
Before my long winded post for those who can get through it. I want to say this is extremely frustrating and while I would still recommend if you want a massage the employees are great and you will come out feeling relaxed and good. Please donât take anything they say about the membership without reading the paperwork. Because the front desk do not know the terms.
11/4/2025 I canât believe Iâm being âthat reviewerâ but I wanted to update my experience with spavia sandy and express my frustration.
When we had our first massage they talked us into the membership with an intro offer of 4th month free this was enticing and made sense at the time, no issues. Fast forward to August life changes and we need to cancel our membership after another couples massage that happened on 8/7/25. I had asked multiple times in person as we were attempting to book our last couples massage to exhaust the remainder of our credits before they expired. While we were struggling to find a time that worked for both my wife and I the front desk individual at the time let us know we had one year from date of cancellation to use the credits that they would act as âgift cardsâ. To which I asked if she was sure as I was under the impression from what I recall it was 30 days as well but the ownership was being changed over during this time. She stated that she was pretty sure but could confirm and give us a call back later that day to which I agreed. We hadnât heard anything that day and called back the following day to confirm the information or recon the appointment in a timely manner, which we informed again we had 1 year from cancellation to exhaust the remaining balance paid.
11/4/2025 My wife calls to schedule and book our last couples massage and were told we only had one credit which was a problem because I know for 100% we had 2 with that free month. I called back and said hey I had paid for 6 months(including free month) only utilized 4 redemptions and know I have 2 remaining $178 value. I called back immediately and explained that we should have 2 credits on the account and showed 5 transactions on my credit card. The front desk individual agreed and said let me put you on hold and speak with the owner. When she came back she said that she was wrong when speaking with my wife but we had zero credits because they needed to be used within 30 days of cancellation. I disagreed and explained we had confirmed multiple times with the front desk about this and we had ample time to use...
Read moreI'll start by admitting that I'm not detail oriented. I signed up for a monthly membership at Spavia that lasted three months. During that time, I was told I'd get discounts I never got, appointments were made by staff that weren't the same as my membership and I was charged one amount for my membership one month and another amount the next. I made appointments for services that were no longer available a day before my appointment.
When I first contacted them about their memberships, I was told I would get 1/2 off my first month membership. It didn't happen. At my first visit, I noticed a sign AT THE FRONT DESK that said 20% off first visit. I asked if that applied to me, and the staff said it did but had already finished checking me out, and told me to ask for it the next time. On my next visit, I mentioned it while checking out, and the staff didn't know how to deduct the amount when I was using my membership.
The second month, I scheduled a facial and spray tan. Later, they called and told me those services couldn't be done on the same day. So, I rescheduled the spray tan for two days after the facial. The esthetician giving my facial said she would be doing my spray tan, and told me how to prep my skin. The next day, they sent me a text saying this service was no longer available!
I canceled my membership, but the next payment had already been charged to my credit card, and I had 30 days to use the membership. That brought me to the third month of my membership. I called and made an appointment, and the receptionist made it for the essential facial. I didn't remember at the time my membership was for the premier facial which was a "step up" from the essential facial.
I went for the facial thinking I was glad I didn't have to deal with Spavia again. When I was leaving, I said this facial was on my membership and I paid the gratuity to the esthetician. The lady said I had gotten the essential facial (the lower cost facial at the lower cost membership,) but I had a premier membership and now had a $30 credit. I left there frustrated as usual.
I checked my credit card, and they had charging me for the lower cost membership (essential) for the past two months. I don't know how that happened, but I'm glad now that they messed up and weren't charging me the $20 extra for the membership I signed up for.
The $30 credit isn't worth going back there. Their brochure says they have three memberships that offer ways to improve your peace of mind, and I experienced...
Read moreYikes. Wanted to treat my boyfriends mom to a spa day together. After reading loads of treatment descriptions at a bunch of different places I chose this spot. First issue, their online booking option was confusing and hard to use to book for a party of people. So I called. When I called the woman was nice and helpful...or so I thought. Turned out the woman on the phone booked our body scrub appointments with 2 men with out asking if this was ok or confirming it with me on the phone. So when we showed up we were only then informed we had male technicians, which my boyfriends mom wasnât comfortable with. The receptionists response was to tell us there were NO women in the spa to do our service and that if we were to not take the appointments we would still be charged for the time?! After a stressful 5 minutes of the receptionist walking in and out of the back spa and staring at her computer, making calls, and me looking online for another spa to go to. She tells us there IS a woman technician at the spa who could help my boyfriends mom. Guess she showed up out of no where? It doesnât end here... So after that fiasco we finally get taken back to the spa. Which is FREEZING, in the locker rooms, the waiting room and the treatment rooms. Our technicians got us and began treatments. They were both very friendly(the only reason I have 2 stars instead of just 1). However, when we finally came out, my boyfriends mom asked me what my service was like because hers didnât match the description she booked AT ALL. They did no wrap on her feet. Used no hot stones etc. I felt so terrible because my technician did all of those things. We left wondering if theyâd mixed us up or just gave her the completely wrong treatment. The receptionist never even answered the question of what happened and just offered to give us 20% off. Overall, this was a really disappointing spa experience and I was really embarrassed since I chose this place and it was the first outing Iâd ever planned with my boyfriends mom. Oh, and after alllll that we still had to drop about $250 for the terrible experience...
