David Yurman — Local services in Scottsdale

This review is in particular for the great service I have received from Sinai Urbieta, one of the Brand Ambassador's at the DY Scottsdale location. I bought a ring of the renaissance collection for my wife in January while I was on a work trip (I live in Austin). Sinai was super friendly, helpful and patient while I tried to narrow down which of the many rings I would buy. For whatever reason, soon after I gave the ring to my wife, she had a strong allergic reaction to it (it is nickel free of course but still caused issues). I emailed DY customer service first, with pictures and all they said was to clean the ring (keeping in mind at that point we only had it for about a month and she never had issues with her rings). They also recommended to go to a local DY store to get it professionally cleaned. We made it to the local Austin DY store and the sales person there was incredibly rude and condescending. He explained to us that this happened to him a lot as well and that she just needs to clean the ring and take all the rings off at night including her wedding ring which she had stacked with the new DY ring. What kind of a recommendation is that? Who takes off their wedding ring? At this point I was ready to give up on DY for being rude and incompetent but I remembered how much I loved the service and support I had received from Sinai when I bought the ring. So, as a last attempt I emailed her and described the situation. I was so upset since it was a 10 year anniversary gift that my wife now couldn't wear. Sinai was AMAZING. She got back to me within less than a day and said that she spoke the one of the store managers and that they would make an exception and exchange the ring. I was to emotionally touched and happy, you can't imagine. We ended up upgrading to a much bigger ring ;) and my wife and I are so so happy. If I could go beyond FIVE stars I would! When you shop at Yurman you KNOW you’re getting quality…when you shop this Scottsdale location you’re getting that with impeccable service! Tish is the biggest gem the store has…bigger than anything you’ll find in their cases. She cares for her clients. Goes the extra mile ALWAYS. Makes you feel special even when you’re “just browsing”. My husband and I have bought a few gifts for one another there at the store and recently decided to step it up a notch. I wanted a custom-made ring to match my pride dog tag from there. I was shocked that Yurman had never designed one. Tish and I sat down and I mapped out my vision…and SHE helped make my vision a REALITY. There were a few “hiccups” that were out of their control…but because they care for their guests…Tish and the GM Karen stepped in and made sure to get it taken care of and done right. The end result? It was STUNNING! Beyond my expectations. It was delivered ahead of schedule because of the work of these ladies. And it wasn’t just delivered. It was delivered by a phone call announcing it was in. It was delivered wrapped beautifully and with a bottle of something bubbly to “celebrate” it’s arrival. Don’t think this service is only given when you “spend a certain amount”….no, it’s given EACH AND EVERY TIME! It’s why we are and will continue to be loyal customers of the brand…but more importantly why we will continue to work with...
