My fiancé and I (both 24) cannot say enough AMAZING things about our experience creating a custom engagement ring with Joe and his team! ♥️ After meeting with four other jewelers both locally and via zoom, we finally found Joe and never looked back. He was incredibly authentic and really took the time to get to know us and our vision for our custom engagement ring. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped us parse through the options that were best for us.

💍Here was our experience:

Met with Joe in person to discuss vision, ring size, timeline, and budget (I didn’t want to explicitly know the latter two, so Joe was great about being subtle about it) Discussed designs in initial meeting (I showed him sketches on my ipad and pictures of other rings I liked) and he went to work to design a few interactive, custom images/versions of my ring that we could look at live time on our profile with him We met to look at diamonds that fit our criteria (D, VVS2, 3.75-4.0 ct elongated radiant lab diamond) and found two we loved that he shipped in to his office for us to see in person. He placed each diamond on a show setting (not just on my finger) so I could see how the ring would wear. We picked the one I loved most and Joe and my fiancé finalized the price/cost separately. — At other jewelers, many of them said this type of diamond would be hard to find, so I was over the moon at how quickly Joe sourced the perfect diamond) Now that we knew the actual size of the diamond we were working with, we met to discuss the digital versions we liked best, made subtle tweaks, and agreed which design he would make for us on his 3D printer. This was a GAME CHANGER because I was able to take the 3D ring home and see what I liked about wearing it vs what I wanted to tweak I decided I wanted my ring lower set than what I initially told Joe, and he was quick to adjust and create a new design for us to approve and print out We then approved the final version once I wore it for a day or two and LOVED IT! — I definitely recommend taking the 3D printed ring home to wear to see if there is anything you’d like to change Joe worked with my fiancé on timelines and was very communicative every step of the way. I know now that he gave us a 6-8 week timeline for our custom piece, but ended up having it done in just short of 5 weeks! This ended up being PERFECT for a surprise engagement since we already had a trip planned that weekend ♥️

The ring turned out beyond gorgeous and I truly will be recommending Joe to all of my friends who are looking to get engaged. His guarantee is just as good as the other bigger jewelers in town (Brilliant Earth, Diamond Guys, etc.) and you get 1:1 attention to design or buy your perfect ring. I cannot recommend Joseph and his team enough for potential ring buyers. Between the stunning quality of their rings and the phenomenal service from the employees, I could not have envisioned a better purchasing experience!

It all started when my fiance (spoilers) and I decided to start ring shopping for a setting she would like, she mentioned Joseph Schubach and I decided to reach out to them. Their immediate response was to let me know that not only would they set the stone to the setting I chose, but they could even build it from scratch to allow for customization. The process of getting the right design and to build the perfect ring was incredibly smooth and enjoyable, and the price of the gorgeous ring they were building in house obliterated the market price of the setting at different stores.

Throughout the course of the design and build, I was constantly in the loop about the ring's status, and they beat their expected build time by 3 full days. The ring was flawless and it was easy to tell that my fiance loved it when I proposed because she started crying immediately after I opened the box. It was one of the best moments of my life, made possible by the fact that I had the right ring to give to her!

I have already reached out to Joseph about getting our wedding bands done with them as well, and will continue to recommend them to anyone who is looking to start ring shopping.

Of course, I saved the very best for last. If you are lucky enough to speak and work with Ms. Beth Nicastro, you are in for a treat. In my 5 years of working in the professional world, I have yet to meet someone with Beth's depth of knowledge and passion for her craft. Beth is a consummate professional and will work tirelessly with you to find the perfect ring. In the 20 emails and in store meetings I had with Beth, I never felt pressured or forced to make a decision. Instead, she had a candid discussion with me and made fantastic recommendations. Greetings Schubach Jewelers and all viewers of the Schubach site. My first introduction to this amazing group was in 2007 as I searched for a designer for a "new ring I felt I needed!" From the start - I was totally impressed. After many emails and phone calls, the decision was made, and the first drawings came from Joe. The original ring was like a super bowl ring with 13 stones on the top of the ring, and six others 3 on each side of the upper shank. Work, work, work, and in 2010 my ring came! WOW . . I could not take my eyes off of it, and wore it until December 2016, when . . . after a personal visit to Phoenix, and finally being able to meet Joe face to face, I chose the stone shown in this picture. It is a very large elongated cushion cut. While it is amazing, fabulous and fascinating all by itself - what is even more amazing is the "inside" of the ring. An "azure back" hand made and installed. (I believe I spend more time looking at that) This ring is now truly "a piece of art! For anyone - making a proposal, considering an anniversary, or (in my case) treating myself/yourself, please give Joe and his team a call or send them an email and make your dreams come true.
