Mexican Imports — Local services in Scottsdale

I personally haven’t been able to go to Mexican Imports ever since I moved to Arizona in August of 2024 where I so happened to meet Aunty Jayne and Uncle Frances one day at a Costco run. I remember that Aunty Jayne asked my brother if he could carry a case of water bottles for her into their cart and he so gladly did so. Me and the rest of my family ended up having a conversation with them and exchanged numbers just in case I needed anything. I was so glad to meet these two amazing people and I have yet to still visit their business due to the distance. Only my family were able to do that when taking a road trip to sedona and grand canyon while I was too busy starting my student-athlete journey. I am here writing a review because my family had an amazing experience buying souvenirs and meeting new people. I am definitely taking it upon myself to visit Mexican Imports as one...

I traveled from overseas to visit a friend in Mesa. I ordered a serape on line and had it sent to his house. I was shocked and disappointed as to what was shipped out by a popular on line vendor. I got a dyed sheet. I wanted a serape!

I found this shop on google maps and we went to check it out.

The shop is located in Scottsdale Tourist Central, but their prices are not the gouge that one would expect in a tourist area and very, very, reasonable. I got my serape, and for less than what I paid for the sheet. I even left with a few more items and wish I could have brought more items home, but my suitcase was already at it's weight limit.

The family running the business was very cordial and we chatted a bit.

If I ever make it back to Mesa, I will definitely shop here again and make sure I have more space in...

This is a wonderful little shop with a variety of souvenir options and other little trinkets. On my last day in town, I stopped in after going in a few other places in Old Town Scottsdale. I wish I'd have gone in Mexican Import first. Their prices are significantly better and they have a greater selection than some of the other nearby spots. The staff was attentive and friendly. If I'm back again, I'll return here to pick up keychains, magnets, shot glasses...
