After 7 years of depriving myself in order to give everything that I could to my kids, I decided it was time to do something for myself. The one thing that bothered me was my hair loss. Now, if this had been something that my entire family experienced, I may have been a little more at ease with it but of all the men in my family, I loved my hair the most and am the only one who lost it. My brother and Dad haven't lost any hair and they use a shampoo/conditioner/bodywash/deodorant/sunscreen/all-purpose cleaner in one. It just doesn't seem fair.

So I made the appointment to meet with Ana in order to discuss the option of the Hairskeen system. The salon is beautiful and the people who work there have all been amazing. The consultation was in the back and very discrete. Ana and Jose are both a joy to work with and their passion for the work they do is evident in the outcomes.

After Ana and I spoke, we decided that I would be a good candidate for the system and set up the appointment to have the first system done. Now, in general, I am not someone who shows a lot of emotion unless it comes to my kids but I was amazed at how different I felt after the first system was completed. They made sure I knew what to expect at first and when I needed to confirm I was doing everything correctly, they saw me and offered advice and feedback.

Three days ago I went have highlights from another salon. Biggest mistake of mylife, i'm new to the area and I had no idea where to go. The girl destroyed my hair. I'm a natural redhead and I asked for light blonde highlights throughout my hair. When I left the salon I was a blonde. I went home crying. For two days I sulked over it. I couldn't take it anymore because when I looked in the mirror I didn't even recognize who I was. So I did extensive search on the Internet for the best colorist in the Phoenix area and I came across Perla, senior stylist at Ramon Bacaui Salon. So I made an appointment with Perla. When I sat in her chair I discussed everything that happened to me with my hair and explain my fears of being a natural redhead trying to get the color back to look natural again. Because I know red hair the hardest color to make it look natural. She wanted to to make sure that I felt at ease with the color selection she had chosen, so she did one foil and let it sit for 10 minutes rinse it and dried it to show me what it would look like. I was pleased when she showed me the sample so I gave it a thumbs up to go ahead and continue doing the rest of my hair. When she was all done, I was so impressed. I felt like myself again, I looked in the mirror it was actually me again. She was so kind and patient with me.
