Lash Society — Local services in Seattle

As a Latina woman I was pretty excited getting my lashes done by another Latina I like supporting my community.

Unfortunately, my Experience with Erika was not the best, when I first arrived to my appointment everything was great she’s very sweet made me feel comfortable in her cozy space! Everything was going well until she supposedly “finished “ my lash set. ( I will leave pictures down below of how she left my lashes and what I asked for.) I asked for a classic look. I’m not sure if she wasn’t prepared for me or if she was in a rush because of the other client after me but it is unprofessional to not finish a lash set, when she “finished “ my set she mentioned she needed “25 more minutes “ to finish it and that I had to come back this Friday. I told her in person that I was going to follow up with her regarding coming in this Friday, but the communication with her hasn’t been the best.

I texted her this morning to let her know my availability and asked her if she can get me in before Friday , I requested a call which she did call me and said she’s booked for Thursday, which I understand but I’m also a client like everyone else paying you for a service that you didn’t fully provide to me.. in my opinion as a business owner if you knew my lashes aren’t fully done , you’re supposed to get me in quickly as possible to fix the issue, as i mentioned I payed for a service like everyone else.

However, after explaining to her my experiences from the past trying to find a lash tech in the downtown area, as I’m new to it i feel overwhelmed now from this experience.. when getting a lash set I never usually have to come back to finish it , I feel scammed in a way because I’m paying for a service I didn’t fully receive and the communication is not there either to ensure me I am being taken care of.. she had told me over the phone she was going to let me know her agenda for Friday, which I had to text her 2 times to make sure she can get in on Friday morning but hasn’t responded.

If you’re reading this I hope your experience is better than mines but unfortunately, for me it was not the best as the lash set was...

I heard about Lash Society through an acquaintance and Ashton’s work really exceeded my expectations. She did an amazing partial set for my wedding look. They looked naturally gorgeous and polished. Some people even asked what mascara I used they looked so natural. Ashton was also a really soothing presence, gentle, and was very kind. The salon is beautiful and relaxing as well.

I don’t usually wear a lot of makeup and I’m a big emotional crier so I knew mascara was out for my wedding. In the past, strip lashes had fallen off after crying at my siblings weddings. These lashes stayed put through the entire week of events and a week or two after (if I had taken better care it would have been longer!)

They were definitely worth it!...
