Do yourself a favor and do not move here. I’ve lived in many apartments before and this is quite literally the worst experience ever. Sharing some tidbits for those deliberating moving here without much knowledge of the management and apartment location: the apartment is located on 3rd and battery, which is unarguably the worst location you can land on in Seattle downtown because 3rd Ave is notorious for it’s homelessness and drug problem. I asked around a lot before moving here from another state and I wish someone would have told me this. the monthly utility charges are the most expensive I have ever seen. I was shocked to find out that we had to pay 300+ in utilities on a monthly basis, which is ridiculous, esp because we were told it wouldn’t be more than $150 per month when we first signed the lease we had some water flooding in the apartment from a faulty lever i the toilet that I had informed maintenance about (to which I was told there’s nothing they can do anything about by their main maintenance guy). A few months later, the toilet flooded because of the faulty level and they made us pay for the expense of replacing the flooring in the apartment. During this time, we had the most disappointment and frustrating experience dealing with the management and staff. The maintenance guy straight up lied about knowing anything about the faulty lever and Chris was also utterly unhelpful, simply because there was no paper trail of the conversation. If you do end up living here, put EVERYTHING in writing because there is no good faith or honesty with these folks. Upon move out, we were charged for ridiculous things like repainting the apartment even though we left the place in great condition. No one ever picks up the phone at the front desk of the office Chris and the staff are generally nice and the apartment itself is great (along with the amenities) but as far as the customer experience goes, this place left us feeling agitated and eager to move out as soon as our lease ended, and I...

The only highlights of this place are the hardworking maintenance team + Tanya, and the great views. Unfortunately, everything else falls far short of expectations.
When I moved in, my apartment was all dirty. I even found chewed gum stuck to the walls, which set the tone for the disappointing experience that followed.
Service: At the start of the leasing process, the office staff was attentive and responsive, but that level of service disappeared once I moved in. For example, I’ve emailed three times requesting a “move-out form” with no response. (This was a week ago)
Amenities: The karaoke system is outdated, the coffee station is rarely restocked, and one of the two elevators is often out of service for days at a time. Additionally, the Butterfly entry system frequently malfunctions, making the elevators inaccessible every other week. BTW the charges for the common areas are high for only 3 usable amenities the building has.
Common Area Rental Issues: I rented the common area for a Halloween event (10/31) and was charged 19 days later for a damaged toilet. I questioned the charge, because of the SUPER LATE NOTICE, which is suspicious because they send emails when something is damaged (that same week the door was damaged for days and they sent updates on that), also there were events the day before and after mine, and asked for proof. It’s been over a week without a response to my email (27 days after my event).
Conclusion: maybe the recent price drop makes this place worth it. Not...
Read moreI lived here for 1 year and I recommend anyone who The property manager Chris is a real MVP. He treats his job more than a job, he is really thinking for the residents and the community. On my move-in date, my mover had significant delay, which made us not arriving until 5:30pm (but the office closes at 6pm), Chris stayed late for us just to ensure our move-in was smooth and the loading dock was closed afterwards. (BTW, the move in and out was very convenient. The building has its own loading dock and the elevator can be reserved) Sometimes the mail carrier leaves the package in the lobby but not in the package locker. Chris brings in the packages in his office to make sure no packages are stolen. Chris often stays late in the office working. This list can go on and on. Another maintenance guy who always running up and down in the building is also very friendly and helpful, but I didn't capture his name during my stay. The amenities are good- a good size of gym, rooftop BBQ, coffee and lounge (very good view), and storage space. The rooftop area can be reserved but also first come first serve. I have hosted BBQ with my friends couple times, and we all had great time. The safety in this area is ok. It gets pretty bad on Bell St bus stop (1 block away). There is a pretty busy restaurant downstairs which kind of helping keeping the homeless away (And I usually go to Vine St bus stop to take bus fyi). I sometimes see homeless walking pass by but I barely see any of them stay/sleep outside of...
