Be sure to read all the way through**My daughter was wrongly accused of shoplifting a necklace (see Becky Johnson’s review for details). The day after the incident, I called and spoke with the owner, Jordan. She assured me that after reviewing the footage, it was clear my daughter had not stolen anything. Jordan seemed kind and compassionate, acknowledging the mistake and promising to send my daughter both a refund for the necklace she had paid for (but did not possess) and a handwritten apology immediately.
Given her sincere apology (and because she was not present during the incident), I chose not to request reimbursement for my daughter’s lost wages and the counseling session she needed due to the distress caused by her cruel employees.
That was over two weeks ago.
I have been unable to reach Jordan by phone as my work makes calling during business hours difficult, and conveniently, the store’s voicemail box is always full, preventing me from leaving a message.
Jordan told me she reads the reviews and had seen my daughter’s review. I am hoping she reads this and rights the wrong done by her employees by overnighting the money. At this point, I doubt a handwritten apology will mean anything to my daughter who is still troubled by how cruelly she was treated.
UPDATE: Jordan contacted me and is attempting to make this right. She sent me a photo of the returned envelope. When my daughter gets the card I will ask her to update her review, and I will update mine as well. It is clear she really does want to "do the right thing." Good employees are hard to find these days; I do empathize with her.
UPDATE: The card and check arrived. The message was heartfelt. One of the employees involved also apologized. Jordan did her best with the situation and I appreciate...
Read moreI’m from out of town and noticed this cute new shop & decided to check it out with my sisters. All I wanted to do was look at all the cute things they had, maybe get something for my toddler or husband for Father’s Day. The worker there, an older man, started very obviously following us around and of course we started whispering because we were very uncomfortable and I thought it was unacceptable considering there were plenty of other people there. Obviously I no longer wanted to be there and on my way out I came up and told him he was making me & my younger sisters uncomfortable and he was SO rude. He said we were being “sketchy” and that we shouldn’t steal and are free to leave. I was about to open our purses up to prove we didn’t steal a thing but figured I don’t owe him an explanation. Well we did leave and never coming back that’s for sure. I feel horrible for all the small business that will lose business because this guy scares...
Read moreWent in yesterday because everyone said they had cute had made items as soon as I walked in the store with my gf this young lady employee asks if we need help. Kindly said no just wanted to look around. She followed us down every lane thinking we were going to steal. We could literally not even get an arms reach away. I could feel her breathing down my neck like I am some sort of criminal. I dunno if it’s because my gf has blue hair or what. But I fully was preparing to buy something but she made us feel gross I hope she reads this and I hope she know I wil never be coming back and I have been telling everyone to avoid that place. Just wait for a farmers market or something. This place will treat you like a criminal. I took some vids of her following us if anyone wants proof. Gross gross behavior...
