Nothing but terrible experience, with quality ,shipping, and customer service. I dont even know who to reach our for help because they are ignoring my complaints through phone, emails and even Better Business Bureau. On June 22, 2022 I ordered a dinning table set through Pottery Barn. Expensive set. The only reason why we finally decided to buy it was because it went on sale. On top of the supper expensive dinning set they charged for shipping around 700 dollars. It all came out around 5,000! Bench came first in August. In Septemeber we got the Table. We inquired about the five chairs and they said it will come on November 13. It was supposed to work out perfectly for the Holidays that were coming up and I expected to host parties. Unfortunately the chairs never came. They kept on pushing the delivery to December then January. In January after I have called numerous of times, they finally scheduled the delivery. To our great astonishment only two chairs came. They promised to bring the rest three chairs next month. Again I had to take hours off work to make dozen of calls inquiring about those three chairs. Those chairs were then on sale. They finally agreed to give me a refund of only 200 with a promise to deliver the chairs that month. Two months passed no chairs. I'm asking for a bigger refund. They keep on refusing my inquiry. When I called again a couple of weeks ago the lady told me our chairs are ready I just had to wait for the call from the delivery office. (Same thing I heard dozen of other times.) So I asked to be transfered to Rider Last Mile. (The delivery company. Since the chairs were ready might as well call them myself and schedule. Why wait for the phone call?) When I was transferred a nice lady told me that three months ago they had the chairs and were ready to deliver but Pottery Barn had requested the chairs to be sent back to the wearhouse! I was so upset to hear that! Why was Pottery barn costumer service lying to me all these months promising to deliver when they knew there was no way those chairs would be delivered by that time frame? They promised me I will have my chairs by June 8, 2023. Almost a year from the date I first ordered them. I'm in shock. I know this is a lie and no one wants to help me out with this...
Read moreUp until today, I was a faithful Williams-Sonoma customer. I have purchased all of my Breville appliances from Williams Sonoma (and many other items), including the Breville Oracle which had a hefty price tag but worth it. Today I went in to buy a Breville Smart Scoop Ice Cream Maker which they had a price tag on the machine for $429. When I went up to the counter to purchase it they told me that they did not have one in stock and was informed that they would need to order one online. I was fine with that until I was informed that the price of the machine would now be $499.99 since we had to order it from corporate. I politely explained that since the display showed the price tag of $429 they should honor the price or it would be false advertising. Unfortunately, they wouldn’t honor the price that was literally hanging on the machine. I declined purchasing the machine and all of the other items that I brought up to the counter to buy as a matter of principle. Unfortunately, corporate greed has pushed a faithful customer away. Ironically enough, Amazon had the machine on their site for $429 and the other items from Iron Clad were even cheaper! The machine and the other items will be here in two days as I have amazon prime...O’well, another business bites the dust. Bad business decisions = bankruptcy. Take care of your customers before it...
Read moreThis store is why people are buying more and more online, and not in brick and mortar locations. I was just in to purchase several items, and at the register I was very rudely informed that they would not honor the price on the internet because of a difference in packaging. Because of past difficulties in dealing with this location I just left the entire purchase on the counter and walked out.
This is not the first time I have left this location upset. Earlier this year I bought several items from W & S online that arrived damaged. I tried to exchange/return the damaged items in the Spokane store, and was turned away that they do not honor online purchases and I had to send the items back to California. All told, it took at least a month to receive a satisfactory purchase from them.
In the past decades, I have been a customer at their San Francisco , Palo Alto, and Seattle stores. Never have I encountered the rudeness and the absolute lack of interest in serving the customer that I have repeatedly experienced in the Spokane store.
If you want something from W & S go online, or better yet, find a...
