So I was craving pizza tonite. I went downtown on my scooter to another pizza place that I could actually get into with my scooter. However, it was only 5:35pm. The sign said open. The large sidewalk said open. But no lights on. No people anywhere. Door was locked.I headed back down Main Street because someone recommended Quick Fire Pizza. There was no handicap entrance-front or back. So I came home. Looked at their website. It says eat in, pickup, delivery. I checked put the "Build your own" menu. I called to order. Could hardly hear the clerk trying to talk to me. It was extremely loud in there. He asked me a few times to repeat my order. Simple enough. A small pizza with the Italian tomato sauce, pepperoni, and olives. Then he said they do Not deliver. I told him I cannot get in their store. He finally agreed to get the pizza going, and said if I can get back to their store, it would be ready in 7 minutes. great! I thought, what a nice young man! I returned 7 minutes later, and a young man brought my pizza outside to me. I checked it and paid. Once I got home, I eagerly started day I g the pizza. No pepperoni. Yes, there was sauce. Yes, the olives were there. Yes, there was crust. ( a very soggy, thin crust.) But no pepperoni on ANY slice. Believe me, I thought they might be hidden under the cheese! So, I just called them back to explain what happened. He put me on hold. Comes back and says, "Well, he thinks he put them under the cheese." I said, "Nope. Already searched for them." And he says, " Oh. Sorry about that. There's really nothing we can do about it." So- I paid extra to "Build my own" pizza. Only 2 items. Only got 1. God forbid anyone orders a pizza with lots of toppings! No offer to replace it. No offer to refund the extra cost for the.missing pepperoni. They can take their so-called New York style pizza and throw it in the river. And get some employees who actually can handle getting a very easy order correct! I will never...

Whenever we walk by, it's always hard to tell if this place is open. The decals on the window keep you from seeing what's going on inside and the tint on the windows make the place seem closed. We looked in the windows and saw people, and a neon "Open" sign that wasn't even turned on. We opened the door and stepped into the clean dining area that was hotter inside than it was outside ... in July. No one greeted us at all. Not even a "Hi" from any of the staff. Not an inviting expereince at all.

We got in line to check out the menu but the lighting for the work area, and the size of the font made the menu hard to see from the line. So we couldn't really get a sense of what they served, or what we wanted until it would have been our turn to order. This must slow things down a lot. It's cafteria style service, so it's reasonable to expect a quick, easy ordering experience.

There where two couples ahead of us and 6 pizzas on the rack waiting to be cooked; but no one was tending the oven. There seemed to be no sense of urgency with any of the staff. After almost 10 uncomfortable minutes of waiting, we decided to leave. We noticed that another couple that walked in after us did the same thing

This place was positively reviewed by WCCO and we were excited to try it. Maybe we'll give it another shot ... someday. Disappointing...

UPDATE: The manager took the time to call me and apologize for the situation. Most places just comment on the review but I appreciate the extra effort. Horrible customer service. I placed an order online through their website, received a confirmation email, waited until the pick up time and arrived at QuickFire to pick up my order. When I arrived, I said I was there for a pickup to one employee. He glanced at the screen and said, "Yeah, I'm gonna have him to deal with it" and passed me off to the other employee. This other employee then told me that my order didn't come through but if I was charged for it he could make it real quick. I was very confused about why my order wasn't there since I went through their website AND received a confirmation email. I checked my bank account and I had been charged so he proceeded to make the pizza but that then required waiting even longer. There was never any apology for the confusion, never any attempt to move a little bit faster, and no remorse whatsoever. Honestly, just a little bit of empathy would have made this situation okay, but they did not care at all. The pizza was just okay. If you order online, I reccommend calling ahead to make sure your order...

When we walked in to Quickfire around 2:00 on a Sunday afternoon (so not a super busy time) there were five people working, none of whom could muster a smile or a greeting. We stood at the counter for several minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. We ordered two pizzas with regular crust and one with gluten free crust. When we ordered the gluten free crust, you would have thought we were asking the young lady helping us to climb Mount Everest based on the facial expression and sigh of inconvenience we received. I was concerned that a gluten free crust was a terribly difficult thing and maybe I shouldn't have ordered it. Turns out that she just had to walk to the cooler and take it out. I actually shouldn't have ordered it. Gluten free folk beware: the GF crust is truly terrible. You can make something better at home. The other two pizzas were relatively good, I am told. My GF pizza was flavorless and partially inedible. Some parts of the crust were so hard I could not get my teeth through. Some parts were utterly burnt, some parts were squishy and not really cooked through at all. I ended up eating just the toppings, and those were tasty. Over all, this was an unpleasant experience.

How I've lived here for so long and put myself through green mill carbones pizza planets pizza ranch dominoes to name a few. But never had the pleasure of QuickFire pizza. The guys that are working are just cool dudes you probably want to catch a beer with after work, music selections on point from Beatles to zz top. Atmosphere is great. The pizza is Gold Standard. I had the Hawaiian and the Buffalo. Both were outstanding. Perfect flavors the crust was cooked exactly the way I wanted or imagined it would taste. Truly the pleasure was all mine today. Thank you guys and everyone needs to eat here so they know what a pizza place should be like.

🍕Best pizza restaurant ever I’ve NEVER had pizza better than this place, and I’m serious. Food: we got the pizza fries (which no, are not fries) that tasted basically like cheesy bread, but still had that “fry” feeling with the way it was cut. We also got the build-your-own pepperoni pizza which was 🤩 phenomenal! Service: service was fast and kind. Very friendly and willing to help if you ask for any. Atmosphere: gives a modern feeling without the hippiness (if you know what I mean) and makes you feel like your in a northern luxurious restaurant which it also being a pizza place, breaking SOME stereotypical barriers of pizza places.
