So I was craving pizza tonite. I went downtown on my scooter to another pizza place that I could actually get into with my scooter. However, it was only 5:35pm. The sign said open. The large sidewalk said open. But no lights on. No people anywhere. Door was locked.I headed back down Main Street because someone recommended Quick Fire Pizza. There was no handicap entrance-front or back. So I came home. Looked at their website. It says eat in, pickup, delivery. I checked put the "Build your own" menu. I called to order. Could hardly hear the clerk trying to talk to me. It was extremely loud in there. He asked me a few times to repeat my order. Simple enough. A small pizza with the Italian tomato sauce, pepperoni, and olives. Then he said they do Not deliver. I told him I cannot get in their store. He finally agreed to get the pizza going, and said if I can get back to their store, it would be ready in 7 minutes. great! I thought, what a nice young man! I returned 7 minutes later, and a young man brought my pizza outside to me. I checked it and paid. Once I got home, I eagerly started day I g the pizza. No pepperoni. Yes, there was sauce. Yes, the olives were there. Yes, there was crust. ( a very soggy, thin crust.) But no pepperoni on ANY slice. Believe me, I thought they might be hidden under the cheese! So, I just called them back to explain what happened. He put me on hold. Comes back and says, "Well, he thinks he put them under the cheese." I said, "Nope. Already searched for them." And he says, " Oh. Sorry about that. There's really nothing we can do about it." So- I paid extra to "Build my own" pizza. Only 2 items. Only got 1. God forbid anyone orders a pizza with lots of toppings! No offer to replace it. No offer to refund the extra cost for the.missing pepperoni. They can take their so-called New York style pizza and throw it in the river. And get some employees who actually can handle getting a very easy order correct! I will never...
Read moreWhenever we walk by, it's always hard to tell if this place is open. The decals on the window keep you from seeing what's going on inside and the tint on the windows make the place seem closed. We looked in the windows and saw people, and a neon "Open" sign that wasn't even turned on. We opened the door and stepped into the clean dining area that was hotter inside than it was outside ... in July. No one greeted us at all. Not even a "Hi" from any of the staff. Not an inviting expereince at all.
We got in line to check out the menu but the lighting for the work area, and the size of the font made the menu hard to see from the line. So we couldn't really get a sense of what they served, or what we wanted until it would have been our turn to order. This must slow things down a lot. It's cafteria style service, so it's reasonable to expect a quick, easy ordering experience.
There where two couples ahead of us and 6 pizzas on the rack waiting to be cooked; but no one was tending the oven. There seemed to be no sense of urgency with any of the staff. After almost 10 uncomfortable minutes of waiting, we decided to leave. We noticed that another couple that walked in after us did the same thing
This place was positively reviewed by WCCO and we were excited to try it. Maybe we'll give it another shot ... someday. Disappointing...

I placed an order online through their website, received a confirmation email, waited until the pick up time and arrived at QuickFire to pick up my order. When I arrived, I said I was there for a pickup to one employee. He glanced at the screen and said, "Yeah, I'm gonna have him to deal with it" and passed me off to the other employee. This other employee then told me that my order didn't come through but if I was charged for it he could make it real quick. I was very confused about why my order wasn't there since I went through their website AND received a confirmation email. I checked my bank account and I had been charged so he proceeded to make the pizza but that then required waiting even longer. There was never any apology for the confusion, never any attempt to move a little bit faster, and no remorse whatsoever. Honestly, just a little bit of empathy would have made this situation okay, but they did not care at all. The pizza was just okay. If you order online, I reccommend calling ahead to make sure your order...
