Shirt Factory — Local services in Stillwater

The Shirt Factory had a sign outside the store saying "You say it, we print it" and a shirt advertised on the front door that read "My two favorite teams are the Bears and whoever beats the Vikings." When I inquired about printing the shirt in a larger size, the staff was confused, unhelpful, and refused to print the shirt citing that "they don't have it anymore." Why advertise a shirt you can't/won't print and why have a sign suggesting shirts are customizable if they aren't? They had a shirt (#309) that read "My favorite teams are the Vikings and whoever beats the Packers." How hard is it to change the team names and print a new shirt?! Everything seemed fine until I wanted to actually take them up on a custom printed shirt. Said the Owner/Manager would have to do the actual printing of what I wanted and he evidently really did not want to do that. We paid then waited and waited and waited and waited. The Owner/Manager had time to do a lot of other things but not my order. Finally had the cashier refund our money and left. If you are not willing or interested in customized t-shirts - pull the advertising for it. I love this place. I come here at least once a year. They make getting a hoodie, t-shirt, and or whatever else an amazing experience. The music is always fun and the product never fails. Staff have always been helpful and friendly. I would also like to mention that staff show patience. I saw multiple people not know what they want and or make staff go through a rigorous process before closing out their sell and the staff have always been easy going. I believe this establishment showcases the two states it sells to. You feel like you're in the mix of Wisconsin and Minnesota. Like I said earlier, I'll be back next summer to get a hoodie.
