Dakshinam — Restaurant in The Colony

I am really sorry to give a low rating as they are a new restaurant and I like to encourage new restaurants and hence try them out. Looking at their rating and reviews I had high hopes but was let down when I ate their food. I ordered on 04-26-25 around dinner, it was a to go order and order was of special chicken briyani and apparao pulav.

It was simply rice topped with gravy in both cases. Both had dry spice but very less flavor, chick pieces were very small and chicken itself tasted dry. With so many good options around this place, I am forced to assume its a consistency issue as other reviews are positive. Whatever it is, they really have to understand their game in terms of taste.
