BoXo Hibachi — Restaurant in The Colony

I just left here today and I must say the food was okay but the customer service was absolutely horrible I asked for a to go container and she gave me one to small so I asked for another one but I still took the small one just in case I needed it well it turns out I made it fit in the other container and I didn’t use the small one so I was about to throw it away being that I had touched it and stuff and that’s when the employee there got a attitude and said you just wasted a container and I said I am chef and that would be cross contamination if I gave it back to her to use for another customer I mean it was a disposable container so due to her bad attitude I will never go eat there again because I won’t spend my money somewhere I’m treated like this for following food and safety sanitation guidelines so yes it’s definitely a no for me and I’m talking about the lady with the long hair ponytail and glasses she has a very nasty attitude and I honestly don’t think she cares for African American people like me because she treated me absolutely horrible over a to go container but I wouldn’t go back if my life depended on it treat your customers better because now I won’t recommend...

Atmosphere is okay. The establishment is always clean and the staff is semi-friendly. The food is delicious, think hibachi without the cook at your individual table experience.

We ordered the chicken plates for the adults and for the children. Also ordered three sushi rolls, miso soup, a salad, and edamame. Food came out as normal except they forgot one item. We ordered a side of rice and they forgot to bring it out. Everytime we thought they were bringing it out but kept taking food to other tables. Husband finally asked them to refund that part of our bill as we were done eating and ready to go. Gentleman then says he can bring it out now so husband asks for it in a to go container. The gentleman brought it to the table on a plate and just left. Was not apologetic for never having brought it out at all or for the fact that we wanted it to go and he put it on a plate. Looks like he took it out of a warmer or microwave. Apparently they didn't even have to cook it, it was already done. We grabbed a to-go box, packed it...

The food is great; The hibachi chicken is some of the best chicken ive ever had and my 3yr old loves it...he typically hates a lot of food. The only down side is that when me and my family came in, we were not greeted. We were not given any recommendations on what to try, even though we stated that it was our 1st time in the restaurant . The person that brought our food said nothing either. There was another set of patrons that came in and they were greeted and givin really great treatment sooo im not sure if it was because me and my family are non-white or if its because we just didnt look like the typical type of people that lived in the neighborhood...well either way im eating there again because the food is FANTASTIC...but i may have it to-go or have someone else pick it up..im real skeptical about rude restaurant owners and workers on the 1st...
