I stopped by the GameStop this past Sunday because I had a returned, which in the many years that I have been a customer I rarely do. I was going to return an item that I purchased online, I initiated the return online and was given the choice of returning it to any GameStop store near me therefore I stopped by and the cashier seem to be not sure if he could accept the return and immediately looked at his what seem to be his Manager and she declined my return because she said that the item I was returning was not sold at her store and she wasn’t going to take the hit for her store. I showed her my return label that specifically said that I could return it in store and she didn’t care to listen to me. If i was advised that I could only return it via mail I would had done that, but this was not the case plus the only reason I was returning the item was because my son changed his mind and wanted something else instead. I have to boys and I have been a long time customer we have spent so much money at GameStop and have never been treated this way, not only do i know her reason was not valid it was the way she treated us that made me feel like I wasn’t valued as a customer or a person. She also made me feel like it was the color of my skin by the way she approached us and was looking at us, I will never come back again! I felt ignored, lied to, and discriminated! Read moreStopped in tonight with my son and the lady working the register I think Alayna has a serious attitude problem. Our interaction was alright (you could tell she did not wanna be there) but as I was leaving she SNAPPED at some kids who were trying to take something off a peg but it was locked. They were 4 young boys there's no reason to ever be speaking to children like that even if you are their mother so I'm not quite sure what she was thinking. (there was also another employee standing directly behind them watching them very obviously to make sure they didn't steal as soon as they walked in who said nothing to them and then also got yelled at by her) The whole store which was full went silent. They give you enough points that covers the cost to sign up plus 5 dollars in store credit every month. They pay you 60 bucks a year to have a membership. And it's well worth it. The customer service can be choppy sometimes and if one customer has a difficult order or a million questions the line can get really long.
