Went to Lolli & Pops today in search of Heath Bars and Wonka bars, didn’t find either, what I did find was this mystery candy box, I do believe they said they got it from Japan, but it has some items I knew and other items I had no clue. The store itself is clean but a little cramped, they had several unique items such as the zag nut bar which you see in the beetle juice movie, a few walls of the bag your own candy, chocolates etc, so you pay by the pound, along with plenty of plastic containers of cotton candy. If your looking for something to get the sugar fix while you’re doing your Christmas shopping and you happen to find yourself near a Lolli & Pops store, swing in and see if anything catches your eye or satisfy your nostalgia from times past. Sadly, they do not have caramel apples though, plus they don’t seem to carry typical candy you might find at your local groceries, but there is plenty to choose from to satisfy your sugar craving while Christmas shopping. Of course if your lucky enough to spot one of these mystery candy boxes while you’re in the store, definitely grab it, makes for a very unique Christmas gift, and almost all kids love candy, add anime to it is just a bonus.

The experience in the store was nice until we asked for their best chocolate and an employee suggested the Milka bar. It ended up being expired though and I didn't notice until the day after :( Luckily I didn't eat it, but I was super disappointed. Makes me wonder how long the other candy has been in the clear containers since expiration dates aren't written on them.

We love this place. They have pretty much any kind of candy you could want. They also have variety of speciality chocolates and truffles. Their gummy bears are the best I have had. I also like the selection of Japanese and European candies. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Don’t miss the Kinder Happy Hippos!

I happened to be in the Woodlands Mall today and wandered into this store. I'm on a diet that allows very little sugar so I rarely eat candy, but when I do I like to have the good stuff, particularly cherry and red apple flavored Jelly Belly jelly beans.

I haven't been able to find either in my neck of the woods since there just aren't any decent pick and mix style shops, so when I saw the huge assortment of JB products at Lolli & Pops, I was quite pleased.

Exploring the rest of the shop, I was pretty amazed at the variety of candies, both packaged and in bins. What really caught my eye were the "4D gummies". They came in several fruit and other novelty shapes, and they were so shiny that at first I thought they were wet and I was momentarily horrified--but no, they're just really shiny. Some of them had bits of something-or-other embedded in the centers, and it made for a very pleasing aesthetic. I didn't know that was important to me until today. I took a few scoops of different flavors to go with my jelly bean haul.

Most importantly they were as tasty as they were pretty. Any less self-control and I'd blow my diet in a heartbeat.

I'm not a big chocolate guy, but it was the same story with that section of the store, just a lot of very pretty candies. My wife is a big fan of chocolate, so she filled a couple of bags and was very happy with the flavor.

Customer service was great. Fast and friendly, explained their rewards program clearly, and we were on our way.

I didn't really pay attention to the prices of packaged candy, but at $16 and change per pound, the bulk candy is admittedly pretty steep, but you have to expect that kind of thing at a mall. If you choose wisely and stick to the higher end stuff, however, you can get a pretty good value. Especially if, like me, you can't find it elsewhere.

In other words, if you're buying Skittles at $16/lb, you're doing it wrong.

Like I mentioned earlier, I don't eat a lot of candy, so what I bought today will last months, but I'll definitely be going back to Lolli & Pops when I need to restock.

If you're in the area,...

Who doesn't love candy? Lolli and Pops has it all. They have a large selection of candy to satisfy everyone, from the old school Mary Jane's to various flavors of truffles, and so much in between . The staff is very friendly and willing to help. No one seems to be having a bad day (how could they, being surrounded by so many tasty treats 😀). They have a good selection of Japanese and European candies too. One good thing is, they let you sample the candies. No more buying something only to get home to find it wasn't what you thought it was. I do find it to be a tad bit expensive, but with the selection offered and being able to try before you buy, it's to be expected. My children love the large selection of gummy bears. They have a chart that show how to mix and match to get new flavors. Every time we go to the mall we make a stop at Lolli and Pops to see what's new. New seasons bring about new flavors, like pumpkin flavored caramel corn around Thanksgiving and peppermint bark at Christmas. Definitely check out Lolli and Pop for your...
