Men's Wearhouse — Local services in Town of Clifton Park

I would not recommend purchasing from this place. My son and I had the worst experience here. I made an appointment a month prior to coming in. We showed up 10 minutes early, we were never greeted by an associate so we walked around patiently just assuming they were busy. There was one other customer in the store besides me and my son. The older women in the back came up and said “we are really tied up, what are you here for?” I was so thrown off she was extremely rude and made us feel so weird like we were not welcome and a bother to her. I said uhm we have an appointment for my son’s tux fitting. She rolled her eyes and said “someone will be with you when they can” that should have been my indication to run immediately but we waited. She then informed me to fill out a form and asked for the event date. I told her October (a little over a month from fitting) she looked and said “an October wedding? I hope he doesn’t getting any bigger by then” talking about my 8 year old son. She then starting measuring and brought out a tux for him to try. She brought him a men’s tux size 29 pants, again my son is 8. She insisted there was nothing they could do to accommodate his size. Everything was HUGE on him he looked ridiculous in this tux. Again, told me there was nothing more she could Do for us. I told her to forget it that we would take our business elsewhere. She again rolled her eyes and walked away. We brought the tux he tried on to counter and the man there said “sorry about that bud but you are a good size, in a good way” extremely unacceptable considering they wanted to charge $250 for a child’s tux rental that was a men’s size! This was such an odd experience and very bad start to my fiancé’s search. We made an appointment and when we get the the woman in the front already seemed frazzled, I tell her we had an appointment and the name. She runs to the back then tells us to follow and frantically looking through her tablet asks how many people, we share and I tell her we were hoping to get a green suit potentially. She immediately just starts saying they won’t have a color for us and with rentals all they have to try on is a jacket. I said we never said rent, we could purchase as well and our goal was to try the styles to get an idea of the fit. She still seemed frantic and had my fiancé try on one jacket and was making him very uncomfortable because she just kept mentioning how only one style would be good for him and asked if the rest of our wedding party would be bigger build or slim fit, i am very much summarizing her words because she just kept using hand gestures to make it seem very large. My fiancé is a 6 ft tall man under 250 but she was treating him as if he was too large and wouldn’t have any options. It was all very weird as if there was no real ability for her to help us. I can’t fathom a mens warehouse (where he has used others multiple times before) can’t figure out how to help someone try on options of fits in a suit. We weren’t even there 15 minutes and I said we will just go somewhere else because it seemed as if there wouldn’t be any help and she was making my partner very uncomfortable. she seemed like she had no idea how to do her job and was just thrown out there. Went to Men's Wearhouse today to try and find suits for my wedding party after we were rudely sent away from the Jos. A Bank store around the corner (the supervisor there told us to "go to J.C. Penney," apparently because the mere inquiry about whether or not they had any suits in the $200-300 range was insulting to him). I am happy to say that we had a phenomenal experience at Men's Wearhouse. We called up before going over and Nate told us about some specials that they had going on, and when we got there, Chris was exceedingly helpful and worked with us to find suits that we liked and that we could afford. We ended up getting packages for $399 that included the suit, shirt and tie - Chris was not pushy in any way but his willingness to help us led us to gladly spend more than we were originally planning on doing.
