For starters, the store was EXTREMELY unorganized and messy. The customers had to step over clothes and shoes all over the place! There werenāt any staff working the floor to ensure customers were taken care of , they were all at the register. There were 4 individuals working at the time, 3 females and a male. I continued to shop due to the awesome sales the store was offering. I eventually made my way to the fitting room area where I waited to get a room. No one came to assist me. The fitting room was dark and had a rack of clothes āgo backsā in front of it. I went to the front of the store to get an employee to let me in. She did so. While I was trying on my clothes another customer needed a fitting room but again no one was there to assist. The female had to literally crawl under the fitting room door to let herself in. As a former Store Manager myself this is a huge Loss Prevention issue. There was absolutely no zoning or coverage of the store. Again , all the employees were up front hanging out at the register talking amongst themselves about personal things like what they were doing after work or cracking jokes. After trying on my items and picking the ones I wanted I made my way to the counter. The young female then started to scan my items . I explained to her that I wanted to price check everything first and get a total before I chose the items I wanted to buy. She continued to do it her way anyways. As sheās checking me out she is completely distracted by her co-workers and continues to have conversation with them. After I stopped her numerous times about how I just wanted a price check she finally understood what I wanted. I chose my final items and was ready to purchase. She then starts to remove the items I no longer want off of my total. During the process she is still talking and joking with her co-workers. I notice she double scans an item! I immediately stop her and said āexcuse me , you scanned that twice ā. She ensures me that she did not and continued to move through the transaction. Once I paid ⦠multiple receipts started printing out which in the retail world that is a normal indicator that something was does incorrectly. She then SCREAMS her managers name from clear across the store and the manager responded with āWHATā she then told her she needed help. At this point Iām already upset because I told her the mistake and instead of stopping her side talks she would have caught that error. The manager comes and starts logging in on the other register and asking me about my contact information. No one has apologized at this point or even told me what was occurring. I only knew what they were doing due to my prior experience as a Retail Store Manager. I give her my information and told her that I would like to receive cash back and not for it to go back on my debit card. The manager says ā no I canāt do that.. it has to go back the way you paid if thatās okay?ā. I told her it was not okay but and that it wasnāt my fault that I was double charged and that the girl was not paying attention to what she was doing. She got quite ⦠pushed a few buttons then the register popped out. She shoved the cash in my hand and walked away. The other female slammed my shopping bag on the counter and called the next customer to the counter. I then grabbed my bag and said āwow you guys really need to work on your professionalism and customer service !ā And walked off. I am extremely disappointed in my experience at this location . This is the first Charlotte Russe Iāve been able to find since Iāve moved to WA and was excited when I seen it. I will not be returning until they are under new management and bring the store up to the correct standard. South Center is such a gorgeous mall to have such a disgusting...

As a retail worker myself in this Same mall I am always understanding of other retail stores and policy knowledge; However, this experience with Charlotte Russe was so beyond okay that I HAD to write a review in regard to my horrible experience. Iām not going to type a ranting paragraph from A-Z about how they couldāve gave better service, Iām simply going to say that theyāre return/exchange policy is TRASH!!! I went in there multiple times for the 3 days I was working my shifts upstairs, trying to find the right pair of shorts for this weekend (Memorial Day), I had good conversations with the staff, even waited patiently while a manager trained a new employee on exchanges, all good vibes and energy. Being that the fitting rooms are not open, that day I had to take my merchandise home and try everything on. When I did so I realized that the zipper to a pair of my shorts was broken ALREADY. Super bummer because theyāre the really cute festival shorts that are currently half off the marked price. Since I worked again today, on my lunch I went down to exchange them for another pair. Thatās when I was rudely informed that since the shorts left the store they could not be exchanged since they are technically damaged. This blew my mind! Mainly because I had been in there LITERALLY yesterday and was NOT informed of that when I had done my previous exchange. If I had tried them on in the store and the zipper was broke already it seems that would have made the difference. The question arises HOW would I KNOW that the merch is damaged if Iām not ABLE to try them on in the store? Seems like a money leeching setup in hindsight My experience today was undeniably revolting and put a sour taste in my mouth from the experience. Because of this I have sworn off going into another Charlotte Russe ever again, Iād suggest you to beware when you shop...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery bad customer service. It was my first time shopping here & the store had a lot of sales being advertised & I found a dress I wanted to try on. There was no one working the fitting room, and all the doors were locked so I went to the cashierās where 4 employees were standing and talking. I asked one of the girls if she could get someone to help me get a fitting room and she told me āsomeone is already thereā. So I told her no I was just there and thereās no one⦠to which she turned her back to me and yelled an employees name out and went back to her conversation with the other employees with no explanation to me. This felt very rude. So I walked back and stood in front of the fitting room waiting. I saw another customer who wanted to try something on go to the cashier and ask the same girl about getting help for a fitting room and she was told the same thing as me, āsomeone is already thereā. Why would customers be asking for help is an employee was actually there?? Finally a girl came by to the fitting room and asked me āhow manyā and got me a room and told me to just hang whatever I didnāt want. The fitting room was dark and dirty. The room had hangers on the floor and trash⦠at this point I just put the dress back and left, I didnāt want to spend any money at this store.The employees in this store donāt seem to care about customer service and seem more annoyed when being asked for assistance. Not one person greeted me or smiled, or seemed like they even wanted...
