First things first my friends and I checked into the Desoto Beach Hotel on a Friday afternoon. We went to check in the Hernando Ocean View. The front desk clerk at the time was Susan. She was very rude then and every shift she was there she was very unpleasant to deal with. All other staff was great and easy the communicate with. The hotel itself was dated, but clean. From the online pictures we expected more. The pool was not heated and very little ammenties on property. The room felt more like a converted conference room. I would look elsewhere next time I visit Tybee. Housekeepers do a great job so I don't have anything negative to...
