Tybee Tour Company — Local services in Tybee Island

We were visiting family in Georgia and had a spare day, so we decided to check out Tybee Island. We hit the jackpot when we ran across Tybee Tour Company! We were thankful they offered evening tours because a day tour in this 90+ degree heat would have been unbearable. Our tour guide was a Tybee local named Jac, who took us all over the island, leaving no stone unturned as she told the story of Tybee and its amazing history. As a former teacher and having spent 2 years living in India, her knowledge is absolutely astounding. The golf cart was comfortable (even had little fans for each guest!) and such a fun way to get around. Jac is very friendly, professional, and accommodating to her guests. The only negative I can see with this tour is the price. We are avid travelers and know the going rate for tours such as this and would have gladly paid more...

Jac (female) was our golf cart tour guide to see Tybee Island. Jac’s is a phenomenal woman. She has traveled all over the world. In her past she taught school until she discovered Tybee Island. Tybee is now her home. Jac’s knows everyone in Tybee and more importantly, everyone knows Jac.😁 She has immersed herself in ecological studies and knows what is needed in Tybee to insure the preservation of the wildlife while protecting the Eco System. Wow!!! We had such a great time on our evening tour of Tybee Island! Jacilyn is a gifted storyteller and guide, and clearly has a passion for history and Tybee. Her tour is a must when visiting, and even if you have been here before, you’ll see the Island with new eyes and an appreciation for the history of the Island.
