Target — Local services in Weatherford

They (Weatherford) actually came through with the product, so they get 5 Stars. I wanted to use this opportunity to share yet another negative experience with a particular Target store. I ordered from three stores and two of the three actually fulfilled my needs. Except for Eastchase Target. Eastchase Target in Fort Worth @ 8550 Tom Laundry Frwy, should be forced to shutter their doors . By far the worst store I’ve ever shopped at online or in person, doesn’t matter it will never live up to my expectations. For a store manager to blatantly lie to customers in order to conceal the true nature as to why they couldn’t provide me with the same product Weatherford and Tehama Parkway did, leaves “Doug” integrity in question. The product he said they didn’t have, oh they had. I placed an order for store pickup, prior to the store opening. A few hours later I receive an email saying my item was no longer available. Thinking this was an error I go back to check online and to my surprise, the item was all of the sudden in stock again. It was out of stock after I placed the online order. I know this for a fact because A friend of mine asked if I could place an order for him, but unfortunately it was out of stock. So I called the store and spoke to Guest Services and explained the whole situation to them. The lady on the phone was also confused because she showed 4 in stock. So, I asked if they could hold those items for me. She said she couldn’t it was first come first serve. I said, well technically speaking, shouldn’t I be afforded the opportunity to make that purchase or for them to hold it since I did place an order online for store pickup? She didn’t know how to reply or provide an explanation so did transferred me to I would assume the store manager. So I speak to Doug and according to Doug, by the time the pickers got to my order the product had been sold. How is that so? When the product was clearly in stock at the time of order and the store didn’t open until 8 am. Doug tried to say there was some issues within the inventory and that item was showing a negative 4. He says since the system doesn’t recognize a negative so it just put it back in as 4 in stock when they’re actually 0 in stock. Okay, so maybe that makes a little sense I guess, but I had my friend go to the store since I was not available to, and when he got there they said it was still on the truck and they couldn’t find it. So how does a product that Doug said there was no more of go from being on the truck? The entire thing does not make any sense at all. I believe someone in that store is hiding it either for themselves or a friend. I have never had a positive experience at this store. The person who works in toys needs to be terminated from her position. She’s extremely rude and has no business being involved in customer service. If I was the store manager, she’d be fired. I wouldn’t not one someone like that representing the Target brand. This store has some major issues that need to be addressed and it starts with management. It’s a reflection of their leadership or lack of and the issues need to be handled in a diligent manner. I’m not just some average customer complaining. These are facts and Eastchase needs a...

I am not a Target shopper for various reasons. Today I added another reason. I am not writing this review to publicly shame a company. Or maybe I am. Something needs to change. I will start with the good though. I visited this Target location for a product that is not available elsewhere besides Ft Worth. I had trouble finding the item and the associate that helped me locate it was very helpful as well as knowledgeable. I found that certain items were placed on endcaps totally out of the section they should have been in making things ridiculously hard to find. There were some items that were not on the shelves that their website said they carried, but did not have the items available in store. It's 110° degrees out this summer so water consumption is a must. I had to pee.. sue me~ lol However upon entering the women's restroom I about lost my lunch. Used sanitary pads lay about the floor and toilets. Paper towels overflowing the garbage. A pubic hair in the sink where I was expected to wash my hands. Needless to say by the time I made it home I about wee wee-d myself I had to go so bad. I really feel like the health department should make a trip to Target as well. I can't imagine what the men's restroom looked like. We all know how they messy boys are 😑 I WILL NOT be returning to this Target under ANY circumstances and I certainly would advise against using thier restrooms!! I was on a mission to find a specific stuffed animal for my husband, who is dying from cancer and has been given mere days live. I was lead to believe there was one left in stock at the Ridgemar location, but when I showed up there were none in stock, even though I placed an online order for pick up. The very kind associate helped me call all of the other stores that “had one left”, but upon checking were all also sold out. Then it came to the last on the list, the Weatherford store. The associate that answered was given the reason of the importance of this item and said she would get a manager to see if they could help. I believe name of the manager who picked up was Jackie, the associate at the Ridgemar store asked if she could go pull the item off the shelf since there was only one left. And I needed to know it was there before heading an hour from home! I assured her I would be on my way right then and there, in the pouring rain, I even offered to pay for it over the phone, if she could just make sure it was there. Jackie’s tone changed to quite hasty and extremely rude, nearly yelling at the poor associate calling on my behalf, saying she was “not going to be doing that”, and its “policy”. How dare anyone as her to make an acceptation for a dying man. So, if you want compassionate people, even in the hardest time in your life, you wont find it at the Weatherford, Tx Target. And as for Jackie… may you never be treated with such haste and annoyance. I hope you have the day...
