I never understood the hype around the Chick-fil-A food until I visited my sister in Louisville, KY last month and ordered take-out at her location. I ordered the tortilla soup and had a few of my niece's waffle fries and I was smitten.
So... I couldn't believe the difference in quality and service at the Main Street location in Weatherford. First of all, if you go through the drive-thru you are literally trapped. I got behind a person who held up one lane for around 10 or 15 minutes. I didn't notice at first because the other lane was backed up too, but when the other line started moving rather quickly and my line hadn't budged, I looked up from my phone and saw one car in front of me with a driver who was asking a lot of questions and arguing with the order-taker and no car to be seen in front of this joker. So once I noticed what was happening, I got agitated and there were cars behind me getting agitated. This situation went on for 10 minutes, once I noticed, so no telling how long this person was allowed to hold up production. I thought about leaving. I was ready to just get home and have a sandwich at this point, but no such luck, there was no way out! Even once you order and round the corner to the window and food runners, you can't get around anyone. There are three lanes of folks waiting for food and no way around them. It is absolutely crazy. If someone had a heart attack in line, they would be out of luck.
So, since I was stuck, I went ahead and ordered and remembered the trouble-maker was still in front, once I rounded the corner. They sat at the window for a very long time before someone finally thought to have them pull up out of the way. By then I knew I wouldn't be back, but at least I had my yummy tortilla soup, right?
Wrong.
So, I finally get my food and can't wait to have a steaming bowl of tortilla soup, just like the one at my sister's. Sadly, when I finally arrived home, the lid wasn't sealed on the soup and about half of it soaked through the paper bag, and the lid wasn't on my drink either, so I spilled it in my car cup holder. And last but not least, the two-chicken tender meal for my daughter didn't have any Chick-fil-A sauce with it. Isn't that kind of the point? Fortunately, I do buy Chick-fil-A sauce and What-a-Burger Spicy Ketchup and What-a-Buger Yellow Mustard at Brookshires... so...

I cannot believe that I was treated in matter of being ignore due to race. My husband return to the establishment at 11:11:15 am with order # 445835. He was treated the same way where the employees avoided eye contact and walked away. My husband stated that they help The Caucasian customer who enter the establishment after him immediately. Then he was acknowledged next in line. Corporate office, Regional & District managers please do review my complaint and provide ethics and customer service training to your employees. We are all human beings and want to be treated with utmost respect. I am trying to figure out why you would treat minorities differently from Caucasian. There is not a sign at the entrance or at the drive-thru that states wedo NOT serve Minorities at this location. Please make any updates to your website or establishment if you are going to continue to ignore and walk away from helping or taking minority customers orders via Dine-In. It is sad that your Weatherford location is treating minorities like me with racial discrimination to service...
