These people are so rude! Long story short my boyfriend bought me a necklace and we had it shipped to the Weatherford store for pickup. I had the order number in my email, but he was busy and couldn’t come with me to the store right then to pick it up. But they need an ID from the person who bought it. I was completely aware of that and I was totally fine with them turning me down, but I gave it a shot anyway to see if I could get my necklace without my bf. We have never bought anything from Kay’s before and we definitely will stick to James Avery after this experience! I walked in and I asked how the lady at the front was doing, I pulled out my phone and said “I’m here to pick up a necklace, I have the order number but the problem is my boyfriend bought it-“ before I could even finish my sentence the girl cuts me off, and in the rudest tone says “nope can’t give it to you without his id” I was a little taken back by her tone. So I said “oh that’s okay, even with the order number right-“ again, cuts me off and says “no I’m not giving it to you without his id.” Again, I was expecting that. But I wasn’t expecting such a nasty attitude. I said “fine. I’ll be back with him soon.” Me and my bf showed back up 30 minutes later, and another lady helped us. All of these people are awful. When my bf finished showing his id, this lady completely ignored me and tried to hand the necklace TO MY BF. Is he gonna wear the diamond snowflake necklace? My bf stared at her and I snatched the bag from her hand. Horrible people. Go to any other location, just not this one! Like I said, we’ll stick to James Avery, they are always so sweet and helpful. Maybe your girls at the front should take lessons from them and get an...
Read moreHorrible experience from start to finish. Had a custom ring made with an emerald that we brought. Was told it would take 4-6 weeks to have a wax made that we would/ could approve the design on, and then another 4-6 weeks to have the actual ring made. No problem. Almost 2 months later we call to ask a status update and get no where. Call again the next week, same answer. This goes on until we are in month #3 when I finally ask for the emerald back because I’m afraid they lost it. They finally come back and say the jeweler is having issues and is very backed up but they still want to do it but we would have to bypass the wax approval. We did and was thankfully very happy with how it turned out (was a very straight forward design). The second issue we faced was the financing. We were told one thing in the store but when they went to charge it all, it was all charged separately (custom fee, diamonds, design fee) so the promotion wasn’t honored that we were promised. Even after countless calls with the manager and the financing company we were left without what was promised and agreed upon in the store. Not a pleasant...
Read moreI went to this location to buy an engagement ring for my fiancée, when I bought the ring I was told that after I paid it off I would have $200 rewards to use towards the purchase of the matching band, but when I went to buy the band another associate told me that I wouldn’t be able to use the $200 that I was originally told because the price of the band was one penny under the allotted amount that I have to spend to be able to get the $200 off. I informed her that I was told different when I bought the engagement ring, all she said was sorry and wasn’t even going to make an attempt to find away to honor what they told me so I walked out. I had also done business with the Kay Jewelers in Ft. Worth inside Ridgmar mall and they have always been helpful and done right by me, when I called that location and told them the situation they informed me right away that they could make it happen. I went into that store and they got it done and got me the $200 off that I was originally told and sold me and my fiancée on a custom ring for me. So I want to say thank you to the Kay Jewelers in Ridgmar Mall for retaining me...
