I purchased a brand new elna electronic in the 1980’s over the course of 40+ years which included yearly maintenance. In 2024 I took the machine to Sew-Creative Sewing & Vacuum and Fabric with a problem with the thread sticking in tension above the arm. I picked it up a few days later I went to sew and the tension problem was worse and the plastic cover piece over tension area had been broken and the thread still stuck. Upon further checking I noticed it was tweeted in connecting to the base. So I bring it back telling the owner that all I wanted was to tune the thread tension and it looked like it had been dropped and the thread was still sticking. She immediately let me know it was not their problem and I had caused the problem. My mouth dropped open. WHAT? you think I did it this!!! I was blown away. More discussion she said she’d work on it again. Pickup called, it was done, picked it up. The tension was hit and miss and when I went to stitch it ran backwards. Back again. A different repair person. Called said it was fixed. It never ever worked properly again.

I brought my Bissell steam cleaner in as this place was recommended by the Bissell representative I spoke with about my machine. The representative said my machine still has warranty for 2 years and it should not be a problem to get it running properly again. Dropped it off over 2 weeks ago to find out that they will not fix my machine under warranty due to a small piece of plastic (that does not effect the performance at all) broke. They offered to fix it but I would have to pay cash for the repair (over $100). I called Bissell and they said that is uncalled for and sent me the parts at no charge. I asked Dave to look at the upholstery tool as it has never worked properly and he was unwilling to do so, said I should have brought the machine in right away. Dave the repair guy basically said I would be better off renting their commercial carpet cleaning machines when I want to shampoo my area rugs and couches... not thanks. I will never do business with them again. DON'T BRING ANYTHING THERE IN HOPES THAT IT WILL BE REPAIRED...

My wife and I stopped in just to look at Miele vacuums— she had been researching them online and just wanted to see them in person. Dave was quick to greet us, see what he could do for us, and then talk to us all about the differences between Miele and Sebo vacuums. He was so thorough, helpful, and knowledgeable that we thought for sure he must work on commission— turns out he doesn’t! He’s just that knowledgeable and passionate about vacuums! We went home to think it over and came back the next day to buy a Sebo Felix (which we are extremely happy with). Dave was a joy to interact with and even offered to assemble the vacuum right then and there and carry it out to the car for us.
